Ashe's P.O.V.
"You guys look pathetic." We had been on this train for only an hour and the mighty dragon slayers were about to pass out.
"How...much... Further...?" Rogue was practically falling out of his seat. Lexi was sitting next to him and poked him every so often to make sure he was still breathing. "Who knows? I don't remember the city being this far." Rufus said from across the isle. Him, Orga and Yukino tagged along. I've met Rufus and Orga before when I used to stop by the guild, but considering Yukino was new, she was quietly sitting there looking out the window.
"Well Akane Beach isn't down the street, we'll probably be on here for another two, three hours, at least." Sting and Rogue groaned at my answer and fell over. Sting had the whole seat to himself and Lector so he was fine, Rogue however had to share with Lexi, Frosch, and me. I grabbed him by his weak shoulder and pulled him down onto my lap.
"Wha-what are you-?" He tensed up and his face felt warm on my leg.
"Calm down, it's just me, plus you looked like you really needed to relax." He calmed down and accepted me as his pillow, although the heat I felt come from his cheeks never left. The rest of the ride was quiet and consisted mostly of Lexi, Lector, and Frosch playing together and the groans from our sick friends.
"Mommy! I see it!" I looked out the window and sure enough you could see the tall trees and sandy beaches. The train stopped and the four of us dragged the dragon slayers off and onto the pavement.
"Whoo! Feels good to be able to breath again." Sting jumped up immediately after we sat him back down. Unlike his friend, Rogue calmly stood up and thanked us for helping him, once again the very faint color coming to his face. "Well, since we're here, let's head to the beach!" Sting took off towards our rented rooms.
Sting, Lector, Rogue, and Frosch shared a room, Orga and Rufus shared one, Yukino had her own, and Lexi and I had our own. I invited Yukino to stay with us but she politely declined saying she didn't feel quite comfortable yet. Lexi and I changed into our suits, hers being a little purple one piece with a skirt around the waist and mine a simple black bikini. We walked out of our room and met with Yukino who informed us that the boys already left.
"You look great by the way." She said shyly as we walked out of the hotel.
"Thank you, but you look way better." It was true, her white bikini hugged her body perfectly and went well with her body type. She was truly gorgeous. It almost made me worry about being around her, because compared to her, I looked decent at best. She smiled and we continued to the beach.
I put Lexi down once we reached the sand and she took off towards Rogue's towel. I sat our stuff down besides his and applied the sunblock to Lexi before she took off to join Rogue and Frosch in building a sand castle. Rufus, Orga, Yukino, and Sting were playing volleyball, Orga insisting on playing his own team, and Lector was the referee. I was laying on my towel just listening to the beach while everyone else did their own thing.
"You wanna join us?" I looked up and Rogue was standing over me. He smiled and pointed to the sand castle they had built, which now seemed to be earning a moat. "No, it seems like you guys have it under control." I smiled and he walked off. I watched as he got back to work, his muscles showing without him even needing to flex. It was so rare to see him like this so I took it in, admiring the moment. What am I doing!? That's my best friend!
I fell back onto my towel covering my face, too embarrassed to even look at him. You need to control yourself!

Rogues P.O.V.
The second Ashe walked out onto the sand I couldn't keep my eyes off her. Her bikini showed off the curves she had perfectly, even though it showed more than I'd like others to see.
"Now that's a sight I wouldn't mind remembering." Rufus and Orga shared a look and I felt my fists clench and face go red from anger. I would've said something if it weren't for Lexi and Frosch calling me to help with the castle. After a while I couldn't take it. I stood up and walked over to her, I needed a better view.
"You wanna join us?" She smiled and declined leaning back down. I sat with the mini builders, occasionally looking back up to see if maybe she was glancing my way. What's wrong with you? What are you thinking? Shes your best friend!
I sighed and took Lexi into the water because she wanted to swim. Get yourself together!

Stings P.O.V.
"Alright let's eat!" We were currently eating dinner at the hotels dining room. Everyone was exhausted from their afternoon at the beach so I figured we'd all sleep well tonight which means a good day to do a job tomorrow.
I looked up and noticed that Rogue and Ashe had been avoiding eye contact with each other all evening. And when one caught a glimpse of the other, they blushed. It was impossible not to smirk knowing what was happening. Good job Sting, you did good. I continued to eat, the smirk never leaving my face.

Rogues P.O.V.
"Goodnight everyone." Everyone was saying goodnight as we headed to our rooms.
"Goodnight Rogue." Ashe said before reaching her door, never meeting my eyes.
Great, she must've noticed me staring earlier. Good job idiot. I mentally scolded myself for being so stupid. No, for getting caught. What am I saying!?
"Goodnight." I unlocked our door and fell on my bed. Sting walked in and had this stupid smirk on his face, in fact, it had been there all throughout dinner. "What are so happy about?"
"It's nothing, just proud of a small plan is all." The smirk grew even larger and I just rolled over letting Frosch sleep behind me. I need to get some sleep so I can get Ashe out of my head.

Ashes P.O.V.
I opened the door and put my head against the nearest wall. Great going, Rogue must've seen you staring earlier. How could I be so stupid!? I was so mad I let myself get carried away. You're mad you got caught. I sighed giving up on this internal battle.
"Mommy? Are you alright?" I recomposed myself and smiled, reassuring the little girl I was fine. We went to our beds and I tucked her in.
"Did you have fun today?" She nodded and her green eyes twinkled.
"Yeah, I had a lot of fun with daddy." I stared her for a second, a little dumbfounded. Wait, was Ryuu there? "Sweety, what do you mean 'daddy'?" I was hoping she'd laugh and say she was kidding, but what she said next shocked me even more.
"Rogue. He's my daddy." She yawned and closed her eyes, turning over.
"Wait Lexi, Rogue's not-" I was cut off by the sound of her silent snores. I sighed and got ready for bed. "What the hell was that about?" Closing my eyes, I rolled over onto my side, hoping to get Rogue off my mind for the night.

And another apology for the length of these chapters. I really wanted them to be longer but it's so hard to tell with the app.. but hopefully they'll get longer with the upcoming events :)
