Ashes P.O.V.

"Just tell me where they are!"

"No!" Another volt of electricity surged through me. I couldn't keep this up anymore, but I refused to give them what they wanted. He raised his hand and the guy poking me with the electrical rod stopped. I was panting, trying to catch my breath after all that screaming. "Why do you want them?"

The small man, their master, gave me a smirk and sat down in his chair. "I was a colleague of your uncles for a while, before the lacrima studies. When I heard he was working on a way to transmit magic from one person to another using lacrima I wanted in. He rejected anyone who offered help however, saying he could do it alone. Well as time went on, I'd check in every once in a while to see the progress. The last time I went, the energy that he was receiving from such a small crystal was outstanding. I was told to leave, and never to return. So I made it my life's goal to understand that science, and harbor all that energy."

"All of this for some energy?" I was shocked that he'd risk peoples lives for some stupid energy.

"If I control all the energy of Fiore, than I become ruler." He stood up and gave me a smile. "Now, where are his notes Ashe, darling? Since I'm practically family, you should just tell me."

"I don't know, and even if I did, I wouldn't tell you." I was tired if this stupid behavior. If he was smart enough to work alongside him before than he should've figured it out by now! "And you'll never be apart of my family." His smile dropped and her turned to leave the room.

"Go ahead and have your fun, but make sure she's still alive for this evening." He closed the door and the man next to me laughed.

"We're gunna have a lil' fun ain't we doll?" He jabbed the rob back into my side and I cried out in pain. Electricity was coursing through my body, but instead of going in random directions, it went straight for one spot every time. My Lacrima.

Frosch's P.O.V

"Wanna play something else?" After everyone passed out, Lector and I woke up in a room with Lexi. We had spent all night and morning playing games with her, but I was still worried about Rogue and the others.

"Maybe later Lexi, why don't we just relax for now?" Lexi nodded at Lector and sat down on the couch. We joined her and Lector started to talk about our options. "If we can get out of here, we'll be able to save Sting and everyone else. But we need to get out." He would check behind him every so often to make sure Lexi wasn't listening, luckily she had distracted herself with drawing.

"But, how are we going to do that?" Lector whispered the plan he made up to me. I pulled back and nodded, determined to save Rogue this time around.

-------

*Four hours later*

Lexi had fallen asleep in the side room made into a bedroom for a nap, so our plan could go into motion. Lector went to the door and started calling out for a guard. When one finally arrived it was time to start.

"What? What do you cats want?"

"My friend here wanted to show you something, hoping it might relive some of the stress from working all the time." Lector walked behind the guy who was now staring at me, waiting for me to go. I swallowed the lump of fear that was stuck in my throat and took a deep breath. I put on a big smile and started dancing around in circles.

"Heh, that is kinda cute." The man was now fully into the dance so I kept going, jumping and spinning all over the room. "This actually is a good stress relief."

"Fro thinks so too!"He cooed even more when I said my famous catchphrase. Just as I was getting tired, Lector hit the big guy over the head with a vase he had found in the room. For as big as he was, you wouldn't expect that to hurt him so badly, but he was out cold. Lector gave a proud smile and grabbed his keys.

"Let's go Frosch! We need to save them!" I nodded and snuck around the hallways with him until found the right room, which was easy thanks to Orga's singing.

Rogue's P.O.V.

I had just gotten back from my latest beating, the third one today. No one else had to go through it, and I was glad, no one should have to.

"Why are they only hurting you Rogue? Have they said?" Illiana had been worrying this whole time that my wounds would get worse, and she was probably right, but there wasn't anything I could do about it.

"No, I have no clue." Once again we all went silent, except for Orga and his songs. He had been singing about "jail life" and "serving his time" all day, surprisingly no one came in to shut him up. We heard a jingle from the door and braced ourselves. They never came so fast before, so something was definitely wrong. The door slowly opened and two small figures walked into our room.

"Figured you guys could use our help." Lector walked around with the keys undoing everyone's wrists.

"That's my cat! Good job Lector." Sting hugged Lector as he praised him.

"Rogue?" Frosch looked at me with tears in eyes as he scanned over my torn up body. I grabbed my frog dressed cat and hugged him tighter than ever before.

"You did a great job Frosch, thank you for rescuing me." His face lit up and he hugged me again before getting off my lap. "Now, we save Ashe."

"Shouldn't we be more cautious, there are guards everywhere remember?" Rufus spoke up giving me a look that basically called me an idiot.

"Actually, we didn't run into anyone our whole way here, and we went down lots of hallways. The only guard we saw was the one by our room." Lector stood by Sting in his arrogant stance as he spoke.

"Shall we?" Sting opened the door and we all headed out on our way to find Ashe.

That's right! Another update! I wanted to give you guys something to read while I worked on Chapter 17. I want it to be an incredible one, so I don't know if I'll be posting it tomorrow or later, but just incase, here's Chapter Sixteen.
