Peter POV:

I don't want a girl who gets a car for her sweet sixteen
For MJ's birthday her parents couldn't afford to get her a car, so instead they bought her the book series she had been wanting. Both Ned and I gave her books as well. She said a sincere thank you despite not getting a lot.

Or spends a stack of dollar bills on a limousine
When she won the school raffle she gave it to a food shelf for supplies.

I want a girl who takes the bus and who wears baggy jeans

She doesn't try to keep up with the fashion. MJ wears what she finds comfortable.

I want a smart girl, stronger than her father
MJ doesn't waste money on clothes or jewelry. She stays on top of all the work, and reads all the time.

MJ does everything her way, if someone dislikes the way she does something she ignores them or insults them.
We used to plan what we would do after high school together.

At first I really liked Lizz, but after a while I realized that she wasn't for me. MJ was.

She makes good decisions, and is perfectly capable to do anything.

She's grateful for everything, and wouldn't risk anything for money.
