Peter POV:
I hear Mr. Stark gasp behind me. I'm afraid he's going to disappear like everyone other than Dr. Strange. Even the blue alien lady turned into dust. I turn to see Mr. Stark dissolving. He quickly gasps out, "Promise you won't get to stuck on me..." It looks like he was going to say more, but he turned into dust to quickly.I scramble to collect some of his dust before it hits the ground. I only grab a handful, but that's more than I expected. I will give it to Ms. Potts.
Dr. Strange says sympathetically, "I know you must miss him, but we need to go home." He opens a portal to New York before telling me, "You can see who didn't get dusted. Maybe your Aunt survived."
I decide to cross the portal for Aunt May, Ned, MJ and everyone else I have left.
———Time Skip To Arriving———.
————His At Apartment————I walk into my apartment with Dr. Strange right behind me. I'm too scared she won't be here to call out for her. Dr. Strange calls out for me. After a minute we go into the kitchen where I see a pile of dust on the ground.
No, no, no, no!
"No, no, no, no!" I echo my thoughts out loud.
Aunt May can't be gone. Who else will comfort me when I'm sad about Uncle Ben, or watch movies way to late with me. I sink to floor, and cry until I can't.
Dr. Strange suggests that maybe I can call my friends. I bet Ned and MJ made it.
I call Ned's phone first. After two rings it's answered, just not by Ned.
Mrs. Leeds answers the phone instead. She says in a sad tone, "Peter, is that you?"
I can hardly breathe, but I tell her, "Yes Mrs. Leeds it's Peter. I was wondering if Ned is there, or if he's even okay."
Mrs. Leeds starts crying into the phone. That's enough for me to assume the worst. Finally she responds to the question with words, "N-N-Ned g-got dusted, d-d-dear. W-What about your Aunt?"
I cry and stutter out, "M-M-M-My Aunt also g-got d-d-dusted. I'm-m s-sorry for your loss."
Mrs. Leeds is silent for a moment before crying and mumbling, "I'm also sorry f-for your l-l-l-loss as w-well. I'll call y-y-you later. G-Good bye." Then she hung up.
Dr. Strange heard everything, so he doesn't push me to tell him what she had said. Instead he asks how many other friends do I have. I tell him one, so he suggests I call that friend.
I call MJ, and at the fifth ring it's answered by her father. He says, "Peter, if you are calling about MJ, she's gone. S-S-She turned into dust right in front of me."
I tell him I'm sorry then I hang up.
This call was also on speakerphone, so Dr. Strange hugged me and said he's sorry. I notice that he put Mr. Stark's dust in a mason jar, and Aunt May's is a milk glass cup while I was talking on the phone.
I cry for two hours before I can finally breath normally. The whole time Dr. Strange was rubbing circles on my back to calm me down.
We decide to give Ms. Pepper Mr. Stark's dust as soon as possible. Dr. Strange opens a portal to where Ms. Pepper is sitting watching the news.
She looks up at us extremely hopeful, but when she doesn't see Mr. Stark, and Dr. Strange shakes his head her face face dropped. I hand her the jar, and she gives me a hug before crying on my shoulder.
We all mope around the next two days except for Dr. Strange. He makes sure we are eating and sleeping.
Finally he suggests that we go to Wakanda to see who survived.
