Chapter 4

 

Day 3…

I met the motorcycle boy again on my way to school, but this time he was riding the bus. 

At first I pretended not to see him but when the bus got fuller, I had no choice but to stand next to him. I hung my head low to hide my face from him.

“Hey, you’re the one who asked me the direction right?” he asked me and lowered his head to look at my face.

No, he remembered!!! 

“Yeah… Hi… ^_^ You remember me?” I asked timidly.

“Of course. ;)  Are you new here?” 

“Yeah. My third day.” 

“And you immediately go to school once you arrived? Where are you from anyway?”

“I’m from Daegu. I only have a day to prepare before I go to school, so actually this is my fourth day.” 

“You haven’t got any chance to look around Seoul then? ^_^ ” 

“Nope. Not yet.”

“Want me to show you around? ^_^ ” 

“… What?” I looked up at him, surprised. 

“I asked whether you want me to show you around.” 

“… Thanks, but I guess no.” 

“Why? :unsure: ” 

“We… don’t really know each other. ^-^;; “

“Oh…”

Then there was awkward silence between us. Now all I heard was girls from my school and other school, his school probably, talking about someone named Lee Sang-min. 

“Kyaaa~ Look at his hair! It’s called style!”

“Look at the way he stands! So straight!”

“Oh my gosh, he pierced his ear!!”

I bet Lee Sang-min was in this bus. I wondered who… He’s just like Oh Hae-young, so popular with the girls. 

Soon, the bus was approaching my school. I glanced at the motorcycle boy and caught him looking at me. I smiled awkwardly at him.
