3) Off Limits

“ OFF LIMITS ”

On the Saturday evening, the people in your house usually will be very loud. And the people will always be your oldest brother's friends. Every weekend, they will visit your home for movie night and sometimes when you are free, you will join them.

But today, it is very quiet. It makes you feel uneasy and restless. You keep on pacing back and forth in front of your brother's room then glance to the door with frowning face. Eager to know what is happening in the room, you placed your right ear on the door and try to focus so that you will hear their conversation in the locked room.

Before this happened, they were talking in the living room while choosing the movie for tonight. But right after they caught you and one your brother's friend kissing, your brother dragged him to his room to interrogate him.

This is because, in their friend's rules, siblings are off limits.

You pout thinking of the stupid rule no. 3 created by your brother. You appreciate that he cherished you dearly but you really can't help with whom to be in love or to fall in love with. At first, you didn't know about their rules, in fact, you never knew they have rules to obey to!

You were the first one to develop the feelings toward Namjoon, one of the tallest among your brother's friends.

He is manly looking and his figure looked gentle and calm like a prince charming, but he was very clumsy at times. Yet, he always look so cute when he was excited about something.

You love his smiles the most because when he smiles, his eyes curled up almost closed, his bone cheeks rose and his deep dimples will appear. He is the best looking when he smiled.

You tried to get close to him every time he came over because you wanted to know him more and better. The more you learn about himself the more love bud sprouts in your heart.

The feelings grew each day and you learnt longing for someone to be by your side. You wanted him so you tried your luck two years later by confessing to him while you two were on duty to prepare snack for movie time.

He was taken aback of course. Maybe he never thought you will have feeling for him and he told you he can't return your feelings because of rule number 3 in their friendship rules: Siblings are off limits.

You were sad but you understandingly accepted it. Next week when he came, you avoided him and didn't join them but spending your time in your room the whole time.

The upcoming weekend, before you could avoid him, he quickly volunteered to prepare the snacks and made you go with him. On that day, he told you he wanted to ignore the third rule. That day, he confessed that he likes you too. He told you how happy and confused he was when you confessed to him and how guilty he was when he decided to broke the rule.

You were furious when you knew your brother were the one who set the rule number three, but Namjoon backed up your brother by saying he did that because he loves you so much and because none of his friends are good enough for his sister; since they were very naughty and Jimin knew how pervert they can be so he doesn't want any of his friends do things like that with his sister.

"I never knew about the rule and I am already in love with you. If you can accept me be with someone else, I don't mind you obeying the rule." You said that to him.

"No. That has been going on my mind these two weeks and I really can't let anyone else, but me to be by your side."

"Then be my boyfriend."

That was six months ago and since then two of you secretly dating behind your brother's back. None of their friends knew too, but last month Namjoon said one of them knew and he didn't tell you whom.
