"I'm just going to numb your skin first," Doctor Eden assures me as I feel a sharp pinch in my skin.

I wince a little but Xavier holds on to my hand tightly.

I regretfully open my eyes to see her pick up a very sharp looking tool.

"You're going to use that?" I question while sitting upright looking alarmed.

Xavier speaks up for her, "she has to baby, you won't even feel it, I promise."

I close my eyes again and hold on to Xavier for dear life as Doctor Eden starts to carefully drag the knife across my skin.

After a while I finally hear her putting away the knife and I look up to see her grabbing a needle and some thread.

I look down at my arm and almost scream, there is a long cut down my arm, as Doctor Eden holds some tissues up to it to slow down the bleeding.

Xavier takes over and holds on to the tissues as Doctor Eden begins to thread the needle.

I bury my head into Xavier's chest when I know she is about to start stitching up my arm.

"All right Luna you are set." I open my eyes and immediately look down at my arm to see neat stitches.

"Alpha, what shall I do with the GPS tracker?" Doctor Eden asks.

"I will send for one of my guards to take it far away and destroy it, my men are still on the hunt for the bastard that is responsible," Xavier replies while standing up and wrapping an arm around my waist and dragging me out of the room.

I go to push open the doors and wince as a sharp pain shoots down my arm.

Xavier looks alarmed as he checks my arm frantically, looking to see if I've ripped open my stitches.

I look up at him and giggle lightly, brushing a gentle hand across his cheek and leaning in to kiss him softly.

"I'm okay Xavier, I just won't be able to move my arm very much," I assure him.

He looks down at me in distress, "you seem to be getting injured a lot."

I shake my head, "don't stress yourself please, I'm fine, my arm will heal in time."

"We are using my blood to heal you faster," Xavier demands.

I go to shake my head in disagreement but I end up staying quiet as I know there's no winning this argument and the pain in my arm is already going to annoy me, I can tell.

'Eric can you please go to see Doctor Eden at the hospital, she will tell you what to do,' Xavier speaks through our leader mindlink that only we and the person we mindlink can hear.

I stare out ahead as I see wolves running together zig-zagging around the tall green trees and the unfamiliar feeling of envy rests in my stomach.

I haven't properly seen any wolves running around since Eartha was killed and I didn't think about how much of an impact it would have on me. My chest begins to burn as the envy spreads like an ugly disease around my body.

I look over to Xavier to see his eyes clouded over as he uses the mindlink so I take the opportunity to walk towards the trees quietly.

I walk deep into the pack-lands until I can no longer hear the constant chatter or the pounding of paws on the rough ground and I lean against a thick tree and stare out to the part of the woods where the pack-land ends.

I lean back and squeeze my eyes shut and clench my fists, my nails digging into my palms roughly, drawing little splotches of blood up to the surface of my skin, tinting it red.
