CASSIE WAS ALREADY AWAKE WHEN I GOT OUT FROM MY ROOM.

So did Ryan, still sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in his hand and his shirt was fully buttoned and his hair was fixed.

"Morning, Jane," Cassie greeted as she made a sandwich at the kitchen counter.

I headed towards the kitchen immediately without greeting Ryan. I had no idea how to ever since what happened last night.

It surely was amazing but I was kind of afraid if he thought it was a mistake. I meant, he was clearly vulnerable after breaking his engagement with Tania back in Paris and left his work to meet me, just because he still needed to explain himself to me.

He was not in a great place to make up his mind completely but I did not regret anything that happened last night.

I opened the cabinet and took a cup.

"So," Cassie spoke in a low voice. "You and Ryan are together now?"

I poured the coffee into my cup and I shrugged, "Um, I don't know..." I almost whispered. "I... uh... we kind of kissed last night and uh..."

Her eyes were widened, "Kind of?"

I shrugged, "It's mutual, this time..."

"So you two are together," She said again.

I shrugged, "Well, we haven't really talked about that yet... It's really hard to talk and kiss at the same time, you know?"

She rolled her eyes and chuckled quietly.

Ryan cleared his throat and came out of nowhere then appeared from my back. I turned around to face him and he said, "I think it's time for me to go. I've got long day ahead of me today. I've got some business to take care of over the ambassador about my work back in Paris and uh... Jane?"

"Yeah?" I said.

He reached for my hand and pulled me to him. He leaned in and whispered to me, "I want you to know that last night was probably the best night I've ever had. I guess I'll talk to you later?"

I smiled and nodded. Then he tilted his head and kissed my cheek before he said good bye to Cassie and he went out from the apartment.

I swallowed and I could feel that my face was burning.

"Someone's blushing," Cassie teased.

"I am not," I glared at her.

"Yes you are! Oh, my God, you fall for him!" She teased again.

I groaned, "I'm going to work! Bye!"

I HARDLY COULD FOCUS AT THE OFFICE.

Until Noah came into his office at eleven in the morning, sharp. I almost forgot to make a lunch reservation but thank God, the person who answered the call recognized my voice and had reserved a table for Noah.

There was a short meeting at the conference room just fifteen minutes before lunch time and had required my presence since Noah would not be able to come in.

To my surprise, and to all surprises, he did come. At one point, everyone was almost panicking over the fact that the CEO was here to observe everything and the decisions were made right away.

The lunch time had past fifteen minutes just because Noah had pushed everyone to his decision makings and needed to report every little detail.
