Umaga na at nasa dining hall kami ni Kai, kumakain ng agahan. The dining table is in the middle of a garden were you can see different kinds of expensive exotic flowers and tropical bonsais and indoor palm trees. And from the corner, you can hear the water running from the koi pond. We're inside a greenhouse that is connected at the right side of the house.
I anxiously looked up and the bright sky from this morning were already turning into gray clouds. Sana maging maayos ang panahon mamaya dahil may pasok pa ako ng gabi.

Ilang saglit pa at lumapit si Yuta samin sa mesa at mabilis na iniabot ang cordless phone kay Kai. Kai glanced at his cellphone on his right before furrowing his brows.
He took the phone to his ears with an uninterested expression on his face. Pero hindi pa man sya nakakapagsalita ay biglang nagbago ang ekspresyon sa mukha niya. Seems like whoever maybe is on the other line might've said something serious. Enough to caught Kai's attention.
"Geez woman! Didn't I tell you to stay put and to not do anything unnecessary?! Wag na wag kang aalis. I'll be there as soon as I can."

Right after the call ended, Kai harshly threw the napkin on the table and it landed on top of his unfinished breakfast. Mukhang hindi maganda ang timpla niya ngayon at anumang oras ay handa syang bumugbog ng tao. He stood up from his seat at kulang nalang ay tadyakan nya ang upuan nya bago umalis.
I almost jump from my seat when his chair fell to the marbled floor and made an echoing thunk sound. I looked at him, shocked with his temper.
"What.. What's the matter? " nag-aalangang tanong ko habang tumatakbo sa isip ko ang posibilidad na may kinalaman iyon sa problemang kinakaharap ngayon ng Yamaguchi-gumi. Pero hindi man lang niya ko pinansin at walang sabi sabing umalis siya ng dining hall.

Marahas akong tumayo mula sa kinauupuan ko at mabilis kong hinabol si Kai. Luckily, I was able to catch up with him at the stairs.
"Sandali! May hindi ka sinasabi sakin, tama ba ko?"

I took two steps at a time and reached the second floor in time before Kai could make another distance between us. I grabbed his arm ang hastily pulled it to make him face me.
"Kung may kinalaman to sa gokudo, hindi bat nararapat lang na malaman ko hanggang sa maliit na parte ng plano mo? I want to do something too. I want to be useful."
"My personal business has nothing to do with you! So just focus on the real reason why you're here. Please continue your breakfast. I have to go somewhere else." he said coldly before he shook my hand off of his arm and walked out.
Naiwan akong tulala at hindi makapagsalita. Personal business he say. With a woman?? Who? At parang alalang-alala sya base sa inakto nya kanina. Kahit kailan ay hindi ko sya nakitang umakto ng ganto over a woman.
