"Betray.... My friends?...." Keisuke repeated.

Bearlynyan nodded, noting the worry in his eyes, "I understand if you feel hesitant. But Level 5 is not going to let you go just like that. You have to fight for it."

"But why?.... Why did they have to lock away my courage?.... Do they not care for my feelings?..."

Sensing that this was personal, Bearlynyan kept silent.

Keisuke's eyes were shadowed as he continued talking, "They don't get it... They don't get how frustrating it is for someone when they can't feel something..... I've been trying to feel courage for so long, but I could never get it....." he punched his knee slightly, tears pricking at his eyes. "It was always Neechan protecting me.... Always Touma protecting me... Akinori, Ayame-san.... I hate it. I hate being so weak.... I hate being unable to fight... To protect.... And now I learn that it's all because of some stupid script?! All because they wanted to make fun of me, to give more spotlight to my sister?! To hurt her more?! They..... They're letting them all get hurt just for entertainment?!?!"

Bearlynyan looked at Keisuke, now seeing some sort of flame slowly begin to light in his eyes.

Keisuke then looked up to Bearlynyan, his eyes glowing blue a bit, "Can I... Can I be given a chance to think this over?"

"Of course," Bearlynyan nodded, "This is a tough decision you're making. But if you decide to do it, just remember that there's no turning back."

"Got it," Keisuke accepted. "Can I go home now?"

Bearlynyan opened a portal, "Here. I'll see you home, if you want."

"That'll be nice," the human smiled. "Thanks."

"No problem," Bearlynyan smiled back before the two stepped through the portal, ending up in the park.

The two were about to begin their journey home when a heart attack hit Bearlynyan, sending him to a tree.

The next thing Keisuke knew, Natsume, Touma, Akinori and Ayame were in front of him, watches and attacks ready.

"How dare you kidnap Keisuke?!" Natsume growled as she summoned a naginata.

Keisuke gave a start. When could Neechan do that?! Is Shuka really still about?!

"You're going down!" Akinori called out his magic attacks.

"Wait, hold on, guys! He's not dangerous-"

"Stay out of this, Keisuke!" Natsume shot back. "This is our fight!"

"No, you gotta listen to me-"

"Possession! Genma Goemon! Lend me your power!"

"Descend! Genjuu Suzaku!"

Keisuke bit his lip. Why won't they listen to me?!

Bearlynyan growled, "Fine! You leave me no choice!" He then switched to his Shadowside.

"Looks like we'll have to call on a friend!" Natsume took out an Ark. "Shoukan! Watashi no tomodachi, debekoi Jibanyan, Komasan!"

The 2 soon appeared in their Shadowsides, ready for battle.

Keisuke's eyes widened. No!

"Shuka already told me the truth of what you want with Keisuke! And that's not happening!" Natsume growled out.

Bearlynyan shot back, "He deserves this more than any of you! He was never given anything! He's the only main character who didn't!"

"But he still has us! Who needs power when they have their friends?!" Ayame shot an attack at Bearlynyan as she said this.

Bearlynyan dodged, "Says you guys! You're the ones who have them! Have you ever thought of his feelings?"

"Shut up! You just want his power!" Natsume lunged for him.

"I want to give him a chance to be his true self!" Bearlynyan threw his axe at Ayame.

"Liar!" Touma deflected it.

"I don't lie! I just want to help! Unlike you guys! You're just scared of his power!"

"Am not!" Akinori griped.

Keisuke's eyes widened. They're .... They're scared of me?....

He then remembered all those times they protected him. The times they never let the enemy touch him.

So that was it.... Huh.... I can't believe it.

Keisuke could only feel betrayed.

It's time to end this.

He slowly took out a dagger he had borrowed from the Arihoshi shrine, and aimed it at someone.

Then, he made his decision.

He threw the dagger to his target.
