"It appears that you are quite confident that I will say anything to you of all people," Reiko tilted her head slightly. Konju just gave a cold stare in response, while Aruke was facepalming to no end outside.  Konju, you're getting WAY into your character these days.

"Are you not going to say anything?" Reiko rose an eyebrow.

".... What do you know of the line 'turning characters against their creators'?"

"I do not know a single thing about that line."

Convoluted language.  Konju mentally noted. In his work as a Borrowed Actor for 2 years, both in the Fictional and Non-Fictional worlds, he had learnt to pick up lies in conversations, and one of the signs was extended language.

"You sure?"

"Yes, I am very sure."

There it is again. I have got to step up my game.

"I highly doubt it. You look like you are trying to convince yourself more than you're trying to convince me."

"I am not trying to hide anything."

Bingo. "I never said that you were."

Aruke tilted his head. When did this evolve into analytical conversation?

Reiko froze, "I-I merely assumed so. My apologies."

Konju mentally smirked, "I see. But I highly suggest that you be honest about this entire thing."

"I rather not."

"Do not make me call Ruke in. He can beat you up again."

Aruke went back to hitting the wall with his palm. KONJUUUUUUUUU!!!!!! The poor thing looked ready to hit Konju to no end due to this.

Reiko went pale, "A-Anything but that!"

Konju smiled innocently, "Then I think you know what to do."

Is this revenge for not letting you switch to good cop?!?!?! Agh, KONJU!

Reiko looked away, "F-Fine! I-I do know something..."

"What is it?" Konju leaned in forward.

"O-Order was saying something about the darkness in one's heart. Said that once it is utilised, it can turn into power."

Konju's eyes narrowed, "What kind of power?"

"I-I don't know! Queru knows more about this than I do!" Reiko squeaked out.

"I see..." Konju didn't LOOK like he saw the meaning, so Aruke decided to interfere, walking in after knocking.

Reiko regained her composure once she saw his cute smile, "Hello there, Kin Aruke."

"Hey there," Aruke greeted. "Hi, Konju. Sorry I'm late. I had to hit the wall for a while and mentally scream."

Konju, understanding the underlying meaning, sheepishly looked away, "Sorry, Ruke. I couldn't help it."

"It's fine, Konju," Aruke waved it off as quickly as he got exasperated. "Anyway, what were you guys discussing?"

"We were talking about Order's plan," Konju replied.

"Ah..." He then turned to Reiko, "What about Tomako's daughter? You know anything about her?"

Reiko blinked, before she slowly nodded, "I met her once in the EW."

Their interest was officially piqued, Aruke decided. He made eye contact with Reiko,"You do?"

Reiko nodded, "I... I'm from the future, to be honest..."

Aruke and Konju exchanged looks.  So the formal tone is her attempt to blend in.

"It must have been hard for you," Aruke felt sympathetic.

"Yeah..." Konju nodded, "I'm sorry for my harsh tone."

"I-It is fine..." Reiko trailed off, "That's all I know, though."

"Okay then," Aruke stood up, "Thanks for your time, Reiko."

"No problem."

With that, the two left, leaving Reiko alone to contemplate her options.

Her violet eyes were trained on the door. They know my identity now. They could tell that I was lying. Yet they played along. Why?

She then sighed, using her handcuffed hands to pull her lavender hair back.

"RW Father, I'm glad that you were imprisoned, because I think I found a light in my dark self."
