When Shuka saw Yuuki, she couldn't do anything.
She could only freeze, her eyes on her brother -her beloved brother- like knifes piercing him, as if she was trying to drag him to herself. Her hands were stiff by her side, unable to move a single bit. Tears pricked at her eyes.
"Shuka?" Gentou, who had been reading a book, looked up just as Shuka SPRINTED for Yuuki. The sudden action surprised him, and jolted Hakushu from his nap. Poor Kuuten ended up being Hakushu's cushion, but Shuka didn't care.
Her brother was here.
"YUUKI!" She tackled him to the ground, surprising his companion, Gludra, who nearly lashed out at her.
Well, Yuuki did it for him, using his winds to pry her off him.
Shuka felt confused as she landed on ground once more, "Y-Yuuki?"
"Who do you think you are to hug me like that?" Yuuki coldly questioned her.
"I-I have a right... I-I am your sister..."
"A sister who SLAUGHTERED my best friends."
Shuka froze up hearing that, "I-I had to..."
"And who would rather listen to a stranger rather than her own brother."
"H-He wasn't a stranger!"
"And who sealed me away because you didn't want me to be free, when you knew that was my biggest desire."
Shuka's heart began to break, "I-I..."
"You what? Want to make up another excuse for the suffering you put me through?" Yuuki SNARLED. Gludra winced a bit seeing Shuka's shocked face at the malice leaking from him.
His final words sealed the deal.
"You are the worst sister. I wish we were never related."
With that, he spun around and stormed off. Gludra followed him loyally, leaving Shuka to fall to her knees on the ground and begin sobbing uncontrollably.
Kuuten was immediately at her side, comforting and patting her on the back, "Shhh shhh, it's okay, it's okay...."
Gentou and Hakushu did the same. Gentou soothed, "Yuuki's just being a jerk..."
"Yeah..." Hakushu nodded in agreement. "You were just doing what you thought was right..."
"But he WAS right..." Shuka mumbled. "I trusted Akihiro more than I trusted my brother. I even killed his best friends..."
The other 3 felt speechless after hearing that, looking down in shame over their past actions.
However, Kuuten got an idea, "Let's hold a funeral for them. It's the least they deserve for being there for Yuuki."
Shuka's eyes brightened as she looked at Kuuten with a small smile, "Sounds great!"
Gentou and Hakushu both nodded in agreement, their own relieved smiles showing.
Kuuten grinned at them, "Let's get ready for it then!"
"OH!" the other 3 cheered, pumping their fists into the air.
