"AH!"

"NATSUME!!" Touma and Akinori shouted as Natsume got hit by a dagger from behind, allowing Cuddly to attack them, sending the 3 to the ground. Ayame turned back to see Keisuke standing there, his head down as his hand fell back down to hang limply beside his chest.

Ayame put two and two together, her eyes widening in shock. 

"Keisuke-kun?... D-Did you throw that dagger?..." Ayame asked. 

"... Yes. Yes I did," Keisuke looked back up, revealing glowing blue eyes. 

Natsume's eyes widened, "K-Keisuke?..." 

Touma and Akinori couldn't believe their eyes and ears. 

Keisuke turned back to them, "You were scared of my power. That's why you always went in front of me. You knew I could fight back and awaken Seishun's power. That's why you did it." 

"Y-You're wrong!" Natsume denied. "We didn't know anything-" 

"About Seishun? Ha, don't joke," Keisuke chuckled drily. "Level 5 probably told you." 

The 4 looked at one another, shocked at the Keisuke they were seeing now. 

"I can't believe it..." Keisuke put his hand to his head, a crazed smile on his lips. "The people who I cared for the most... Who I wanted to protect... Who made me wish I had power... They were the ones who wanted to keep me like this...." 

"Keisuke, are you seriously going to believe that bear's words over us-" 

"Yes, yes, I am, Akinori," Keisuke nodded, his eyes now glowing brightly. "He's the only one who was brave enough to tell me the truth." 

"Keisuke..." Cuddly watched with a sad face. 

"You know, I was REALLY REALLY hesitant at first to go through with this, but after seeing you guys, I understand what I have to do," Keisuke took out a ring from his pocket and put it on his ring finger. 

Natsume's eyes widened in shock. She had heard how Keisuke could awaken Seishun, and she didn't want that to happen. 

"I've made my decision, Bearlynyan," Keisuke's eyes were cold now. "Between betraying my friends and my freedom..." 

"NO! KEISUKE! PLEASE DON'T SAY IT! WE'RE SO SORRY FOR KEEPING THIS FROM YOU!" Natsume howled in pity as she began crying. 

Keisuke ignored her, "As much as I hate for it to be this..." 

"YOU'LL REGRET IT KEISUKE! PLEASE, NO!" Akinori begged. 

"I honestly wished it could go differently..." 

"THEN DON'T DO IT!" Ayame pleaded. 

"But I'm not going to turn back, because of the people who I believed in, so...." 

"DON'T!!"Touma screamed. 

Then, Keisuke said the words that sealed his fate forever. 

"I choose to betray my friends."
