It took a while, but they finally managed to set it up.
The funeral was held in a wide grassy field, where the quartet had placed a memorial for the trio. It was a simple one, yet it would grow to be filled with flowers, since the 4 of them had placed seeds around the stone. They had prepared a small tent for them to sit inside, with only a picnic blanket to act as their seats.
Shuka went first. She walked towards the memorial, taking in a deep breath before she spoke, choosing her words carefully, "Hebininii, you were loyal to Yuuki despite how you were treated as the son of a LEGO villain. You truly cared for him and protected him when I couldn't. So did Horse Rider. I owe you two a lot for that. As for Bullseye.... When you first met Yuuki, you were suspicious of him. You were still recovering from the exile. But gradually, you two grew close, and you finally let down your barriers, allowing Yuuki to do the same. Thank you... For what you've done for Yuuki. We shall never forget you." Then, she went back to her seat.
Gentou was next, "You three died unjustly. We apologise for that, so this is how we're going to repay you. We hope that you're living happily wherever you are, Hebi-ninii, Horse Rider, Bullseye."
Hakushu sighed as he stood up to replace Gentou, moving to stand in front of their handmade stone, the trio's names scrawnily written on them, "You three were brave and loyal enough to die for Yuuki. That's a commendable feat, and I salute all of you for that. May you find peace in your eternal rest."
Kuuten was the last to go, "I wish that I had gotten to know you all better before your untimely demise, because I think that we could have gotten along well. You three are amazing, and don't you ever forget that, please. Thank you for all the things you've done for Yuuki."
Kuuten's bow, followed by the rest of them, signified the end of the funeral..
It was short.
Yet it managed to lift their centuries-long burdens.
