Chapter 6

Yoongi POV

"Taehyung? What are you doing here?" I said to the guy who suddenly popped out of nowhere.

"Oh, your shift is over soon right? I wanted to pick you guys up and we can visit Jimin together" He smiled his usual box smile

"I would love to Taehyung, but I have to solve this on going case that started 12 years ago... " I said sadly and his smile dropped, he frowned

"Pleaseeee, just once, and we can even help you! Namjoon is so smart, he's even smarter than me!" He said begging and pulling my arm.

"Taehyung, its no miracle that Namjoon or anyone else is smarter than you, I mean he might even have 1000+ IQ, I'm a genius though" I said and he just looked at me with disbelief

"Rude, and praising yourself, wow... But let's goooo" He said but I shook my head. "I'll catch up, you go on ahead, after this I will go to you" I said and he smiled slightly.

"For real?" He asked and I nodded. "Yay! Bye hyung" He said and skipped away happily. Reality suddenly struck me.

I ran towards the dark alley and I saw a shaking person. He was sitting on the ground hugging his knees and his back was the only thing I could see from here.

I walked near him but he laid down and covered his ears with his hands.

"NO PLEASE GET AWAY FROM ME" He screamed shaking more rapidly now. "Shh, please calm down, I'm Min Yoongi, I'm a police officer" I said

He seemed to calm down and sat up. He stood up and slowly faced me. He walked quickly and engulfed me in a hug.

This scent... This fluffy hair, his voice....
"Jiminie?" I said and he nodded. I rubbed his back and drew circles on his back using my finger in hopes of soothing him.

After a few more minutes, he stopped crying and looked at me. I could see his red eyes, one of them being a black eye, his tear stained chubby cheeks and his busted lips.

"Who did this to you?" I asked and carefully cupped his cheeks, wiping the tears that escaped his eyes.

"C-C" He stuttered and

"Wait what is this?" I said and took the paper that was taped to his shirt.

'You are late, this is HIM right? I didn't say any specific time but what took you so long? The next time you do, HE's dead'

I read the note and Jimin occasionally tried to sneak a glance on the note.  "Let's clean you up,  we have to meet the others too" I said and his eyes lit up

"We're gonna have a reunion? Now? As in,  now??" He said, excitement evident in his voice.  "Yes, so let's clean you up sunshine" I said and accidentally let the pet name slip but he seemed to blush.

Oh hoho...What effect do I have on you my dear Jimin?

I just smirked and pulled him towards a clinic. "What happened officer?" The doctor said while putting an ice pack on his eye.

"C attacked him, good thing he didn't kill him,  but ask him, I came when he was shaking on the ground" I said and he nodded

"So what exactly happened sir?" He asked. "I was just walking, and suddenly someone pulled me towards the dark alley" He started

"I couldn't see the person clearly but I think he was a boy because his voice sounded like a man's... He just kept screaming while hitting me" He said.

"I avoided some of his punches but some ended up on my stomach" He said and showed his stomach filled with colors of blue and purple.

"He punched my eye and everything went black. I woke up and he was not there anymore" He said and winced when the doctor put the ice pack on his bruises

"Hold this on Jimin's eye, I'll get more ice packs" He said and I held the ice pack, he left after that.

"Are you sure you want to see them again even in this condition?" I asked and he nodded weakly

"I missed them, I wanna see them again" He said and smiled as tears trickled from his eyes.  I wiped them and hugged him, still holding the ice pack.

The doctor gave us a few more ice packs and adviced Jimin to rest for the week. I paid the bill and we walked out as I supported Jimin.

I called Taehyung and asked where we should meet. They said to go to the coffee shop where I previously went, guess they wanna try it out too.

We walked towards the coffee shop. The cute little bell chimed as we walked in. Oh that Felix guy is not working? As well as that Minho guy?

I mean they obviously switched shifts. I saw the 4 dorks sitting at the table near the window. All of them waving at us, so we walked towards them

"Woah, what happened to you two?" Hoseok asked when he saw Jimin. "I told you about the case, Jimin got attacked, he thankfully didn't die" I explained and they all gasped

They all engulfed Jimin in a hug, I got hugged either way so this turned to being a group hug, I don't really mind... Probably

We sat down and the table was filled with them asking Jimin "Are you okay" and "What happened"

He explained everything and they all nodded.  We just ordered and tried to catch up on many things after the years.

Taehyung told them about going on the academy near Jimin's, everything was just peaceful and everyone was happy.

For now..

Double update for the times I didn't update 😅

Classes has started again and I prefer morning classes than afternoon classes 🤧
