Lana's POV:

"Lets see..." I say as I look down at my open suitcase on my bed, "I have three dresses... Night gown... Three pairs of slippers... What else???" I look around, "Bathroom supplies!" I declare.

I scramble into my bathroom and take my brush and grimance at the tangle strands of red hair, looking like a huge hair ball on a hair brush.

I sigh as I weave my fingers through the hair strands and pull out most of the hair tangled in the brush. After that I grab my two favorite perfume bottles and settle the bottles into my suitcase between two of the dresses to cushion them and drop my brush on the top.

I tap my chin, "I feel like I'm missing something..." I say as I circle around my room, like a vulture looking for food. Looking past my wardrobe, my bathroom, my nightstand, and then stop at my dresser with a square mirror.

I approach my dresser and settle down on the cusion bench. I tap my fingers on the dresser to the rhythm of a song I was singing in my head.

Sha la la la la la
My oh my
Looks like the boy's too shy
Ain't gonna kiss the girl

I pick up a pair of pearl earrings and put them on. My fingers slips to my right wrist and fiddles with my bracelet that my grandfather had gifted to me when I turned one. Each year when I got older, mother will give it to grandfather for him to upgrade to my wrist size and will add a small charm that never falls off.

I fiddle with the seashell charm. Feeling the smoothness against my fingers. It was so small and shining.

I start to hum the song Sebastian sang when my father took mother on their first date. I stand up and my steps fall into the beat of the soft tune. It was my favorite song and when I sing or hum it, I think of the romance I want.

I wonder how it'll feel like to be in love with that special someone. To have them look at you in adoration and love. Like you're the only person that matters in the world.

I sigh dreamily as I close my eyes and sway to the song Kiss the Girl. Imagining I was dancing with a handsome young man.

I hadn't realize I was singing outloud til I finish the song and heard clapping behind me.

I turn around to see my mother standing by the doorway, "My, would Sebastian be proud to hear you sing his famous song."

I smile, "I wish he and Flounder had came with grandfather. I feel like I haven't seen them in forever."

She smiles, "Maybe I can send a message to them and they can come and visit for your return."

I nod with a smile, "I would like that very much!"

She glances at my suitcase behind me, "Have you gotten all your things all pack?"

I slowly nod, "Yes... I think so. Do you think three dresses are enough for two days in Femos?"

"Oh yes definitely."

"Mother?"

"Hrm?"

"What do you think Prince Nathan is like?" I ask, fiddling with my bracelet once again. A habit I can't break.

"Hm, I'm not sure Lana. I don't want to worry you, but I hear he is a spoil and selfish prince." she whispers as if someone was in my room besides her and I.

"Really? Do you know anything good about him?" I ask, my hopes slowly dying.

"I heard that young ladies think he's quite handsome." She adds.

I sigh, "Think he knows anything about romance?"

"No, I doubt that."

My shoulders slumps in disappointment. You would've think a prince would know about romance. Not everything is about being king.

"But Lana this is not an arrange marrige. Your father and I will never force you into marrying someone you don't love. This is just for you to meet a man. If you don't like him then thats fine. You'll find someone someday soon, my dear."

I nod, "Well that does give me some reassurance."

"Good, that's what I was trying to do. Now come we still haven't had breakfast and I'm starving for some oatmeal." She wraps her arm around me and guides me out the room to the dinning room.

*******
Now I just had to add my favorite song from The Little Mermaid movie. And maybe later on in the story we get to see Flounder and Sebastion ;)
