"I love you Ivy. You don't have to say it back." He said as I struggled to make up a sentence, or even a word, maybe a syllable but my brain was just not processing what this gorgeous guy right in front of me just said.
"I just want you to know how I feel and I will always be by your side." Still unable to use words I just nodded my head which made him chuckle. "How about we get out of here? I think we've had enough school and drama for the day."
"Yea that sounds good."
"Oh she speaks." He smirks. Rolling my eyes I get up and start heading to the parking lot towards Kohl's car. Kohl texting Paul to let him know we were ditching.
By the time we got to my house we noticed Paul's car already in the driveway.
"About damn time you got here. I'm hungry. Firecracker you got any snacks?"
"What are you guys doing here?" I asked noticing Sam and Tiffany climbing out of Paul's car.
"We didn't want to sit in the rest of classes with Jake and we wanted to make sure you were okay." Sam came over and gave me one of those side hugs.
"Ivvvyyyy! Come on I'm hungry! I missed lunch since your boy toy decided to go ape shit." We laughed at Paul's childish antics. We headed inside and I went to the kitchen to grab every snack like food from the pantry for everyone to have since none of us really did eat lunch.
"Man I can not believe that guy. He really had the nerve to play dumb acting like he was innocent." Sam said while reaching for the Doritos. Everyone mumbled in agreement. Well everyone but Tiff.
"Tiff are you okay?" I looked at her concerned.
"I don't know. I've known Jake for a while and I just don't think he could've done those things you said."
"What?!" We all said in unison.
"How can you defend him after everything he put Ivy through?" Sam looked at her.
"How do we even know what Ivy said was true?"
"Wow Tiff... seriously?" I couldn't believe her at this moment.
"I think I'm going to go."
From that day on Tiffany didn't speak to us anymore and was always seen by Jake's side.
It's been two weeks since the whole fight and Tiffany leaving us. The rest of us just got into a new routine of just being the four of us but were still not over everything that happened, especially Kohl. We were currently at the ice cream shop enjoying a nice Thursday night talking about our weekend plans.
"Oh! Kyle from the baseball team is having a party this Saturday we should totally check it out." Paul mentioned.
"I'm down" Sam said while enjoying her strawberry sundae.
"Uhhh I don't know. Parties aren't really my thing." I said unsure.
"Maybe a night out is what we need to forget about everything." Kohl suggested. Everyone looked at me waiting for an answer.
"Fine." I reluctantly agreed.
