Chapter 14

On our way to the mall we filled Paul in on what happened and he was upset to say the least.

"Man I wish I was there to see that!"

When we arrived at the mall the guys headed one way and us girls headed another way. Sam had mentioned she wanted to get her new girlfriend a gift for Valentines Day so we are in search for the perfect gift. 

After picking out a nice blue hoodie, since according to Sam her girlfriend loves hoodies, we met up with the guys in the food court.

I noticed Kohl with a bag and tried to reach for it.

"What'd you buy?" Before I can take a peak Kohl snatched the bag out of reach and hid it behind him.

"Oh um nothing. Just some uhh underwear." His face turned a shade of pink when we all looked at him confused.

"So I'm going to go get Taco Bell, anyone want to join?" Sam said.

"I'll go." Tiffany went with her.

"Well I'm in the mood for some McDonalds." Standing up from the table both Kohl and Paul agreed with me and we went and got our food. 

After a couple of minutes we all came back and began eating. It was getting late so we decided it was best we all head home after the day we encountered. 

Kohl gave everyone a ride home and after dropping off Paul he turned to look at me.

"I want to take you somewhere before you go home. Is that okay?" He ran a shaky hand through his hair.

"Yea sure." I gave him a gently smile.

After 20 minutes of us driving and me asking where it was he was going we finally arrived at this clearing. Stepping out the car I look at the sight in front of me.

It was a field filled with flowers that stretched on for miles. I was in complete awe.

"My mom use to bring me here when I was little." I turned to him not knowing what to say.

"Look Ivy I'm not sure how this is suppose to go. I've never felt like this for someone before and I'm not going to lie this scares the crap out of me." I chuckle at his jittery state.

"I know Valentines Day isn't for a couple more days but I want to give you this." He pulled out a small box from his back pocket and handed it to me. 

I remove the lid and inside lays a small gold locket.

"Oh my god Kohl.. It's beautiful." I take it out the box and hand it to him so he can put it on me.

Once it was clasped on I looked down at it as it lays on my chest then stare up at the gorgeous guy before me.

Kohl has really been there for me since the beginning. I have never met anyone as amazing as him. I didn't even think he existed. I love him.

Wait- I love him?? 

Looking into his eyes and seeing that perfect smile upon his lips I realize all along I have been in love with Kohl. 

"Kohl?"

"Yea?"

"I love you."

"What." His eyes were wide and his mouth hung out.

"I love you Kohl." His face broke into a huge smile and he gently grabbed my face and kissed me.

EEEEEEEEEEK! YAY SHE FINALLY SAID IT BACK!
