I woke up right around 4:00 as usual. I got up, changed into a black bikini with a white rip curl logo on it. I grab my board and wax, throw a pair of sunglasses in my bag, and a white slip on sun dress. Putting on my anklet and tying my hair up in a ponytail, I go out to the kitchen and am about to get out the door,

"Ah ah ah. Not so fast young lady. You need to eat something first." I hear my dad say, I turn around and just barely manage to catch the green apple he threw to me. I smile and walk over to him behind the counter. "Thanks dad." I say softly hugging him from the side. He hugs me back and kisses my head. "Be careful out there today okay?" He says, just like always, and I nod kissing his cheek and running down to the beach. "Always am. I'll be back in time for lunch. Love you!"

It's just about been 3 hours. I'm now sitting on the beach counting the sets.

"Well well well, look who I found." I looked up to see Luke standing above me, board in hand. I smile at him and he sits down next to me in the sand, setting his board next to mine. "How long have you been out here?" I shrug and look at my phone. "About 3 hours." I say and Luke's eyes go wide. "You've been here since 4:30!" He exclaims making me giggle. "Yes silly thats when the waves are the best." He laughs and leans back on his elbows. "Damn. I can barely get up by 6:00." I laugh and roll over on my stomach.

I look at him and almost instantly am lost in his eyes. Crystal clear blue like the ocean. It's like I'm in a trance. Everything else fades away and I'm drowning in the depths of his ocean eyes. Loss of breath. My palms begin to sweat. They're mesmerizing.

"EARTH TO SADIE?" I shake my thoughts away and am brought back by Luke snapping his fingers in front of my face. "Huh? What? Sorry." He laughs and shakes his head. "I asked if you wanted to maybe uh- get breakfast with me?" I smile and nod.

We get up and dust ourselves off, grabbing our stuff. Good thing I brought that sundress. I slip on the dress and we walk to the small coffee shop we went to with the boys a few days ago. Luke holds the door open for me as we walk in. I thank him and we order our coffee and beagles. Luke pulls my chair out for me to sit down and smiles at me.

"So are you always this chivalrous to the ladies?" I ask half jokingly and he chuckles softly. "Nah, just the ones I like." He says and his eyes go a little wide after realizing what just came out of his mouth. I blush a little and smile. Luke awkwardly clears his throat.

Our order came and we ate in silence before I started a new conversation.

"So how are you and the boys liking Hawaii so far?" He nods and swallows his food. "Great! It's really great, the surf is amazing, we got a place not too far from here actually, right on the beach. We haven't really gotten to check out the island too much though." He said and instantly an idea popped in my head. "Would you guys want to come hang with me and Alana today? We can show you all of our favorite spots and fun things to do around the island." Luke day and thought for a second. He smiled as I bit my bottom lip. Nervous habit. "Yea I'll text the guys, we'd love to." I nod and smile as he texts the boys and I call Alana.

The boys and Alana joined us at the coffee shop and now we were showing the guys around Lahaina. We were stuck at the big Banyan tree because Michael wanted to see if he could climb it. Alana and I had to keep yelling at him to get off of it before he got us kicked out. We walked trough the little art fair and the shops in Lahaina and brought the boys to Honolua Bay. "This is one of my dad's favorite places to surf. He took Alana and I out here to surf for our first competition together." The boys stared out at the waves in awe. Alana turned to me and wrapped her arm around my shoulder. I sighed and leaned into her contently.
