"Okay so my mom and brothers are staying in the guest rooms since there moving out in two days. Today we're moving into the master bedroom. Also your butler from home is moving here today. So we will have Mallory and Thomas as our personal help. You don't really need an assistant since mine will serve us both" I finish.
"Really? I'm gonna miss having the little guy around" he says. "Awwwww yeah Cupid adores you, but I'm sure they will visit a lot" I say.
"Okay we have to go approve the decorations for the ball tomorrow" I tell him.
We head to the dining room for a late lunch with my family.
We have paninis and cheese and crackers. With sparkling lemonade. Well Peter and Cupid have regular lemonade but the rest of us have sparkling lemonade.
"So how was school this week?" I ask Peter and Callum.
"Uh good" Callum says.
"It was so fun! We carved pumpkins and made pumpkin pie. We also did math and English and all the boring stuff but it was fun!" Peter enthused.
"Wow that sounds cool" I say to him.
We finish breakfast and head to the ballroom with James. I pull out my phone and text Steph.
Hey Steph! We're in the ballroom, come down whenever your ready.
Okay I'm gonna grab everything and I will be down in a few minutes.
Sounds good.
"She will be down in a minute" I tell James.
"Perfect, I'm so exited for the ball" he says.
Steph walks in with all the decor options. "Okay so I was thinking a fall sort of theme with like yellows, oranges and reds. With white plates and you can design the menu" she explains.
"I love it! What about you James?" I ask. "Sounds great but one question. What about table clothes?" He asks.
"Oh sorry we were thinking white" she says.
We nod in agreement and she runs off to let everyone know our decision. We head into the kitchen to speak to Sara, our head chef- to decide the menu.
"Hello Sara do you have a minute to go over the menu with us?" I ask.
"Of course let me grab the list of foods I was thinking of" she says.
About an hour later we finally have a bit of down time and head to my room. We open the door and see the room empty.
My heart skips a beat as I remember it's in the master bedroom. Relief floods me and I can breathe again.
"Oh it's in my moms old room!" I say gasping. "Oh right, right this way ma' lady" he says swooping me up bridal style.
"AHHHHHH" I scream in surprise. He chuckles and carries me off to our room.
