James' butler comes in with his suit. Except his kingdoms royal symbol is gone and replaced with mine. I smile at my fiancé and turn back to Mallory.
"Okay so for make up and hair do whatever you think is best" I tell her. "You bet!" She says dragging me over to the vanity.
I keep my eyes shut to avoid getting stabbed in the eye by mascara. After what feels like an eternity she announces that she's done. I open my eyes to see dark and sparkly eyeshadows, No acne, a bright red lipstick and a smiling Mallory.
"I love it! Thank you" I tell her. She smiled in response before pulling out the hair dryer, a brush and tons of bobby-pins. I hear the loud constant noise of the blow dryer and I hear quiet conversation between James and his butler.
I watch in the mirror as she braids my hair. I watch her trust it up into a giant bun with a few pieces hanging down in the front. She curls the small strands and sprays it with hairspray. She places a gold tiara with small red stones in it on my head.
I stand up and give her a hug, "Thank you so much and oh I have a surprise for you! I changed the event uniforms to a long green dress and the men working will wear a black tux with a green tie" I tell her.
She gasps and smiles, everyone hated the old uniform since at the fanciest events of the year the workers were in plain black server outfits. This lets them feel more important and included.
She hugs me again while saying, "thanks you thank you thank you".
I smile and dismiss her to go get ready as I slip on my high heels. "You look gorgeous babe, you sure we need to be down there? I can think of a few more interesting things to do up here" he says with a smirk.
He sets his hands in my waist and gives me a quick kiss. "Are you ready we have to give the guards permission to open the doors" he asks. "Yes I will text the head guard right now and let's go wait at the introduction platform for all the citizens to file in" I tell him.
We walk down the chaotic halls to the door behind the grand staircase. Two guards come join us and tell us that almost everyone has filed in. My mom and brothers come up to us and say hello and give us a hug before our first Royal appearance together.
"I remember when your father and I did this. I was so exited and nervous, but when we got to the bottom of the stairs my mother frowned and shook her head" she said pausing.
"After we took our seats I asked her what was wrong she said ' You aren't ready for this, you have so much to learn before you marry this man. Are you sure you want to do this?' I was devastated. But she didn't know that I was pregnant. Your dad and I had just found out we were going to have a baby" she said smiling at the memory.
"Little did I know I was going to have two!" She said with a chuckle. "Anyways what I wanted to tell you was that no matter what everyone says to you or thinks of you. You act like you don't care, just keep smiling. I'm so proud of you and your dad would be too" She said.
"Aw mom I love you so much" I said hugging her.
I pulled away and saw Calum smile at me and nod his head, I saw Peter impatiently waiting to be let in the ballroom.
I saw James holding Cupid and talking to him. I smiled and walked over to him. "Awwwww" I say right as the clock hits 6.
"Your majesty's its time to let you in. The order will go Queen, Prince Cupid, Prince Peter, Prince Calum and then Prince James and Princess Quinn together, does that sound okay?" One of the guards asks.
"No I wanna walk wif James and Quinn not by mysewf! Pwease" Cupid complained. James laughed and set Cupid down. And I stepped between them.
I grabbed Cupid's hand and set my other hand on my hip. James wrapped his arm through mine and we were ready. "Please welcome her highness Queen Elena" They announced as my mom steps through the door and down the stairs.
