"It's our heart's longing and sadness that makes us weak for some reason."

3rd person's POV

Jimin was born from a very lovely family. He was originally raised by his parents and grandma in their hometown in Busan. He was a very cheerful kid. He easily laughs at whatever his father does and sometimes he is extra happy especially when his father gets scolded by his beautiful mother. He indeed belongs to a wonderful family.

His grandma was all he knew since his grandfather passed away even before he was born so he didn't get to meet him. He knows how he looked from his grandma's pictures and he could somehow tell that his grandfather was a really great person based on his grandma's stories about him.

Jimin's father, Mr. Park, was a professor and was also a retired pilot that's why he knew a lot of places that would be good for traveling. Mrs. Park, on the other hand, was an office worker. She quit her job and decided to just stay at home when they had Jimin who became the center of their world.

This little ball of sunshine they name Park Jimin was a little troublemaker at most times but they always find him really adorable whatever he does nonetheless.

"Go hide there, okay? Don't go out if your dad calls you." A five-year-old Jimin giggled at this. He and his mother were hiding there on the side of their white-painted house since they were playing hide-and-seek and his father was chosen as the seeker... again. Mr. Park couldn't really beat his wife when it comes to things like this, well, not like he wasn't having fun too.

Little Jimin sneakily moved under their house porch and crouched down to hide as his mother stayed there on their original hiding place. His mother was shushing him with a bright smile so he covered his mouth to control his laughter.

Every day was filled with fun for Jimin. He always gets the attention and love he ever wanted from his family. He never once felt the need to have more in their life. They weren't that crazy rich but they sure can afford a lot of things since both Mr. and Mrs. Park are good with handling their finances. He was also good-natured and very well-mannered since his parents always taught him that kindness is something that you give out for free.

Everything was perfect in Jimin's life.

But everything went downhill when Jimin turned fourteen. He just came from his school when he called for his grandma and mother since he knew that they would be the only ones at home since his father was probably teaching in the university where he works at. But when he arrived home, he was only welcomed by silence.

"Halmoni~" He called once again as he removed his school shoes in front of their doorway. He went to the kitchen to check, to their backyard, to the bedrooms upstairs but no one seemed to be really home.

"That's weird. Why would they left the door open though?" He scratched the back of his head to think but then he pouted after. "Tsk, they always tell me that it's dangerous and to not let the doors open whenever I go out but here they are doing things like this." He complained with his arms crossed.

He decided to just wait for his grandma and mother to come home in the living room. He opened their television to watch some cartoons but what flashed on the screen was something he would never expect to see. His body froze and his heartbeats turned irregular. It was some news flash about an accident...
