3rd person's POV

Police cars roamed around the house. 

The Busan police were already patrolling the area and checking for any possible escape routes and hideouts where the killer could've escaped to. There are also investigators inside Jimin's grandmother's house where the murder happened. For now, they couldn't question Jimin since the latter is still not recovering from the shock of their earlier's call.

Jimin was just there sitting on the couch of the said house with a blanket covering his figure. He was staring blankly at the floor of his grandma's living room as Jungkook hugs him from the side comforting him.

Jimin could still not believe that his Aunt Dara and grandmother were already dead. 

After he received the call, he didn't hesitate to grab everything he can think of, waking up Jungkook in the process who got shocked when he saw Jimin having a breakdown. He managed to hear Jimin's explanation as Jimin cried so he drove them both to Busan.

The moment Jimin stepped into his old house, he was stopped by the police but he just ignored them and ran inside only to see his Grandmother's and aunt's dead bodies on the floor of the murder scene. His legs gave up at the sight but thank God because Jungkook caught him on time and he dragged Jimin outside of the room.

The police only told him that someone must've broken into the house. But the worse comes after as they also stated that Jimin's cousins were reported missing. They already called his Uncle Jiyoung who was supposed to be having a business trip in Australia but chose not to say anything yet regarding his missing children not wanting to cause another breakdown to the man.

Jungkook also called Namjoon for help and the latter agreed to accompany him and get more help back in Seoul so they could fasten their operation in finding the culprit as well as Jimin's cousins. 

As Jungkook hugs Jimin closer, he feels Jimin tugging on his shirt so he held him tighter. A new set of tears fell down on Jimin's cheeks as he wept on Jungkook's chest seeking comfort. 

"Please Jungkook... l-let's find them." Jungkook nodded without missing a beat as he kissed the crown of Jimin's head assuring his lover that he will help him no matter what. 

"I'll get all the help you'll need, Jimin. I'll bring them back to you."

Jimin fell asleep in Jungkook's embrace a few moments later and Jungkook had to carry him upstairs to tuck him to sleep. 

Seeing Jimin with his tear-stained cheeks, Jungkook couldn't help but feel Jimin's pain as well. He wished he could take away all of Jimin's burden. Caressing Jimin's cheeks as he wiped away those dried tears, he kissed Jimin's forehead one last time uttering an 'I'm sorry, baby' before he walked out of the room.
