"The nightmare that's been killing you all your life was slowly creeping in the depths of your soul. And maybe the time has been nearing when it will finally swallow your whole and eat you alive."

3rd person's POV
The echoes of the steps were heard in the hospital's hallway. The nurses that were handling their specific patients bowed down to Hoseok as he made his way towards the room where he will be visiting for the day. His black formal suit perfectly hugs his toned body, his hands dug inside the pockets of his slacks and his black leather shoes flawlessly stride in the white floors of the said hospital.
He breathes in and out, his hand already on the doorknob of the said room ready to twist it open although he was hesitating. He shut his eyes and expected a normal scenario to unfold since he is just about to visit their most treacherous and most vicious patient.
The door creaks at the moment of his entrance. The wild and disturbing scene that he was expecting to welcome him somehow turned into a peaceful one which he clearly did not see coming. At least not when it comes to this patient.
The woman who was silently sitting on her white bed who was initially blanking out noticed Hoseok's arrival. Her once white and flawless skin turned less glowing and somehow pale. Her red lips turned chapped and it loses its reddish healthy color. Her once glamorous charcoal hair was still there although it appeared disheveled.
But her eyes...
Her eyes looked still the same. It was the same brownish color she has like before.
"Hoseok-ah..." She called out with a faint smile, her body shifting on the bed as she sat up and her bare feet slowly touched the cold floor.
Hoseok closed the door behind him, his lips curving up a little as he bowed curtly. He stared at the woman whom he began observing and somehow a part of him pities her condition.
The woman slowly stood up, her walking a little sluggish like she wasn't used in moving at all. Her body was swaying and she was barely moving forward, her stance unsteady as she let her shoulder seek balance from the wall. She looked like it was her first time walking.
When she was finally in front of Hoseok, she made another soft smile, her eyes twinkling although it appeared tired from the dark under eye bags caused by her lack of sleep from her insomnia. She couldn't sleep although she sometimes wants to. Her thoughts weren't stopping and it keeps her awake all night.
"Please, Hoseok-ah... l-let me go and see Jungkook. I... I wanted to see him." Her expression immediately falters, her eyes brimmed with tears as she bit her lower lip that began to quiver. She couldn't help but feel her heart ache at the mention of Jungkook's name.
She started pleading with her eyes, her body still swaying as if someone was shaking her. The tears she was holding in already fell down her bony cheeks. She sobbed and just stayed there in front of Hoseok waiting for the young man to let her go and see her family.
Hoseok clenched on his fists, his eyes hardening. He knew better than to listen to her since he was minding everything his uncle Joo Won told him. They were ordered not to let her go anywhere near Jungkook so he will have to stick with that.
Even if he still doesn't know the reason why they had to.
"I'm afraid I can't do that." Hoseok told firmly, his eyes never leaving hers.
