♛Chptr. 49: Who's the Bad Guy Now?♛

3rd person's POV

Jungkook wasn't allowed to go out of Namjoon's office for the past days he had spent in the older's so-called home. After all of what happened between him and Taehyung, Namjoon made sure to keep a good eye on him. And yes he didn't want to follow anyone's order and he was indeed about to protest but Namjoon used his last card against him offering him something really important.

"Jungkook I swear to God if you don't listen to--"

"Then what, hyung?!" Jungkook erupted that day as soon as Taehyung walks out, challenging Namjoon in his tone of voice.

"I won't allow you to know where Jimin is." Namjoon announced that surely made Jungkook halt. Sure, he was the one who brought Jimin in the hospital but he couldn't really remember anything that happened and to where Jimin really was.

"You wouldn't dare, hyung." Jungkook told in clenched fists, glaring at Namjoon darkly but Namjoon wouldn't give in.

"Behave, Jungkook or I wouldn't tell you anything." Namjoon repeated and Jungkook thought things through until he soon agreed without really meaning it.

So then he stayed at Namjoon's office for days waiting for any news about Jimin until one day, Namjoon let him hear Jimin's voice through the phone when the older called Jimin. He wasn't allowed to talk for some reason he hated so he just listened to Jimin's soft yet weaker voice through the phone. He badly wanted to snatch the phone away from Namjoon but can't.

The moment Jimin slightly giggle at something Namjoon told him, he somehow felt relieved yet still worried. He wanted to speak to Jimin but he made a deal to Namjoon so he fought the urge not to.

"Thank you, hyung..." Jungkook uttered lowly with a small smile as soon as the call ended. "For at least letting me hear his voice." He ended making Namjoon feel guilty. 

The older just ruffled his hair with a sad expression as well. He doesn't want to do this cruel thing to both Jimin and Jungkook knowing that the two were building feelings to each other but he couldn't just sit and not do something. It's for both of their safety after all. 

And making sure that none of them will get hurt at this fucked up situation is his and Hoseok's main priority.

After three days of spending his time with Namjoon, Jungkook finally went home after Namjoon drove him off. He was exhausted and drained. His body felt so weak that he doesn't even want to walk anymore. He just wanted to slump his body on his bed.
