Jade~
I awake with a terrible headache and the urge to vomit. My surrounding resembles Dean's room if I'm not mistaken. On the floor lies Dean, such a great friend, right? Wrong! I heaved off the bed and raced to the toilet, spewing all my insides. I didn't but sure felt like it. I'm never going with Dean to the club again, even if it kills me. That was my first and last.
I open the tap, splashing water on my face, seemingly gazing into the mirror. My reflection looked back at me with disgust; my lip cut open, my eyes red, my hair messed up.
"What the hell happened!" I screech, storming out of the bathroom, "Dean, get the hell up and explain!" I snap.
"Hmm wa, expla, whaaat," he stammered, still dazed. Guess I got to do this the hard way. Dragging his soon to be dead body to the bathtub is a drag. I threw his body into the tub, opening the tap, letting the cold water rain down on him. He gasps for air as his legs and hands wave wildly. "Jade?" He shouts.
I close the tap, "explain now?" I scornfully gazed at him. He had a lot of explaining to do.
" huh?" he mumbled.
"Wrong answer," I snap, opening the tap.
He yelps under the cold water, "I'll speak okay, let me try to remember!" And after the tap was closed, he spoke, "what was the last thing you remember?"
"Me drinking cola, " I answered, thinking back bits and pieces gradually coming to me with a migraine.
"You mean alcohol!"
"geez, quit yelling," I softly said. I feel sick. After regaining my composure, I continued, "well, I said cola to the bartender. Everything is fuzzy after that," I admit.
" let me be honest, buddy. You slept with a girl. Congrats, you're finally a man now," he lied.
I open the tap, rolling my eyes, " don't dare lie to me!"
"Alright, alright! I'll tell you the truth," he cried in defeat. I close the tap, although my hand itches to open it once more, just for fun. " You started to dance to the beat, so Monica took you to the dance floor, and buddy, you were dancing."
"I'm sure I was a great dancer," I bragged, earning a chuckle from Dean.
" Yeah, right. Great dancer, so any way you were dancing, but then the music turned to rave music, and you started vibing to that beat. You should have seen the way you danced. We thought you were having a seizure, " He explained, placing his hand on my shoulder, stifling a laugh, "you were thee greatest dancer out there...pffft!"
I was embarrassed, tap open, "b-buttt what did I doooo? I answered-honestly!"
"Anyway, continue, what happened next? How did I get hurt like this?" I point at my lips, closing the tap yet again.
His eyes widen, "what happened to your lips?"
"Would I be asking you if I knew, better question, was this from yesterday's fight with you?"
"No, if you remember correctly, I hit your jaw," Dean replied.
"I see that you two are at it already," Monica interjected as she barged into the bathroom, holding a bottle of water and a small container.
"Monica, why you here?" Dean asked.
"Don't you remember," she drawled, almost expecting this to happen?
"No," Dean admitted.
"Okay, what did you remember last, Jade?" She stares at me.
"drinking cola," I muttered childishly.
