I obnoxiously followed her into her room, expecting pink with a whole lot of girly stuff laying around. It's not. The walls are bottle green. Mr. Panda on the bed stole my attention.
Robyn inhaled deeply. Her hands shook as she welcomes me, "this is my room... you can sit on my bed."
"Thanks," I said, stepping towards the bed. "Oh shit! I can't, just look at me," I acknowledge, pointing to my body covered in blue dye.
"Right, let's get cleaned up first. " Robyn agreed, as she left me in her room.
After a few moments of pacing around her room, wondering what she's doing, she comes back with a chair and a bunch of denim clothes. She threw the clothes on the bed and said, "that's my brother's clothes. I'm pretty sure it can fit you." She then went into her wardrobe.
"Thanks, but you don't have to. I can go home and fetch mines, " I lied.
"No, it's okay, he won't even notice, " she explained while pulling out some fresh clothes for herself, "wait for me, I'm going to go first. After I finish then and I mean only then is when you can go."
"Oh," I mumble with disappointment.
"What?"
"Just thought we were going to shower together," I teased, a playful smirk tugged my face.
"You wish, " she retorted, " no, whatever dirty that you have thought out in your mind... Yeah, that's not going to happen. Understood?" She adds in a condescending tone.
"You know it seems just like that. You not going to come out naked, are you?" I joked.
"I'm a hundred percent serious, Jade." Robyn persisted, not changing the seriousness in her tone.
"Way to suck the fun out of things," I pouted, "what am I supposed to do while you shower?"
Like a hot girl screaming for me to give her my attention, I locked eyes with a diary on the table, a pink book with small unicorn stamps decorating the edges, the word 'diary' printed boldly in the front. Robyn's eyes trailed mines before she answered, " you can wait like a well behave friend and read some book."
My facial expression gave me away.
" Not this book, I'm taking this," she smirked before entering the bathroom.
"Ahh, that was probably the most interesting book in here."
The door stopped midway as she delivered an answer before slamming the door, "find another one."
I grabbed the handle, but it makes an annoying click. Guess it's locked, guess I'm not even getting a peek, guess I'm a pervert. Hey, I'm not a pervert. I was only joking. Am I? "Just shut up inner me."
The time alone helped me plan where I want to go, but we might get hungry on the way. I searched for the kitchen. After walking past it three times, I finally found it. I decided to make something that I'm surprisingly good at... Omelettes. I switch the stove on and heats up while I chopped the chillies, tomatoes, onions, and beat the eggs. 15 minutes later. Two best omelettes ready to be devoured.
I look for a lunch box under the sink. In the cupboards, I found a steel lunch tin with a steel lid. It looks old, but it will do. I place the food in it gentle as if I'm laying a baby into her coth, not daring to wake her up. I pack it in my bag, "wait, where is my bag?"
