Chapter one

" You really enjoying it? It's Friday! F, R, I... "
" Yes, I know what Friday is! " I turned my eyes upon Jesus and then looked at Adeline. " I'm just not enjoying it, gonna go, have a good time. "
" Pho, it's boring! "
I looked accusingly at Adeline.
" Fine. ", said Adeline, " see you then.

Of course i was going home. Not only because I'm really NOT enjoying going to those parties where my friends go at the weekends.
No, I'm clearly introverted and... I have no books to read.
So I'm going to a library. To my second most favorite place in the whole world. Right after my own home.

" Hello! " said happily Emily, nerd girl who works in the library.
" Hey, Emily, how's life going? " I asked her this well known sentence for bith of us. I always ask her this way.
" I'm fine, Phoebe, what 'bout you? I see you are going to give back those you borrowed last week. " said Emily and looked at my full bag with little smile on her face.
I also looked at my bag and said:
" Yeah, I was quick. "
And then we both laughed.
" So gonna go for new ones, see you then. " said I and Emily just nodded.
I put read books on a table to Emily, as always. She'll give them back.
I turned left to my favorite part of a big library in London city centre. I put my bag off my shoulders and took my mobile and earbuds from it.
I always listen to my favorite songs when I'm choosing new books.
It's kinda relaxing.
I'm also ' good - old fashioned ' so I chose some Queen, Elton John and Led Zeppelin to a shuffle on my playlist.
" ' Cos you're cool cat, tapping on a toe with a new hat, oooh, just cruising, driving along with the swing king, feelin' the beat of my heart, yeah, feelin' the beat of my heart. " Sounded in my ears.
" Freddie Mercury is a legend though. " said I to myself.
Or i thought i said it in my mind.
Or...
" No, he's not. "
Someone stood right next to me and i didn't know it.
I looked at the person.
" Oh fuck off, Tob! " I whispered.
" Oh, should really I, sweetie pie? " said Tob.
Oh my god how i hated when he called me like that.
" Yes! And don't call me like that! " I whispered again and looked around, if anyone isn't watching us.
" Why? I'm your boyfriend, right? "
Tob was always supposed that we were always dating. We never did. Fortunately. But he still does me these things because he knows that I'll be mad and he literally loves when I'm mad. It was cute - how Tob said.
I roled my eyes.
" No, Tob, you aren't. How many times A DAY shall I remind you it? "
" I love you, bitch! "
He was absolutely ignoring me.
It was worthless so i took one book i found there, took my bag and quickly left this dumb person.
" You're an idiot. " whispered I when I went around him.
He ignored. Again.
I was drowned in thoughts about how dumb some people really can be so I didn't know where I'm going at.
So I was confused when I stood in unknown part of big library.
I looked up and my mouth almost fell out from its place.
Shelves were a way bigger than in other parts of library. Also, many beautiful ornaments were drawn on the shelves and I smelt odd smell.
I've never been on this place before. And i thought I knew every little part of my favorite library.
I sighned: " Wow. "
My bag slowly fell off my shoulders and I slowly went nearer to one beautiful shelf with beautifully looked books.
I touched one of those beautiful books.
This one I touched on was beautifully blue with gold ornaments on it.
It wasn't heavy, but it also wasn't light. Something between it.
" About girl, who has fallen from the Heavens. " was written on the book in golden font.
I slowly opened the book...
" Ouch! " I let the book fell from my hands.
It was...
Cold?!
The book was so cold and I don't know why.
I was so confused.
" What? " I whispered very quietly.
I slowly went down to take the book back to the shelf.
It was normal.
Like nothing has just happend.
It didn't take even ten seconds and I felt that I need to touch another one of these hundreds of beatiful books.
I almost touched green one with black ornaments on it when some invisible powers took my hand and I touched another one.
Dark red book with silver ornaments.
I couldn't believe what is happening.
But I didn't know why, I took the book from the shelf.
It wasn't heavy, either light again and i took my courage to open the book.
I was prepaired for painful cold but...
It was normal.
It didn't freeze, It didn't burn in my hands, It just didn't do anything.
Just book.
I was confused even more.
I closed the book and looked on the name of it.
" Abook. "
What?
What does it mean - Abook? Like a book? 
Or does it mean something different?
I was looking very confused on it and i felt that I must borrow it.
I took the book to my hands, took my bag and somehow went out from this weird part of library.

" Only this one? " said someone.
" What? " I asked very confused.
I look straight and saw Emily, looking very carefully at me.
" Phoebe, are you ok? " asked Emily quite terrified.
" I'm... Ok, absoluetly ok. " said I but I knew either me, either Emily wasn't sure about that.
" Ok... ", said slowly Emily, " ... So you're taking only this one? " Emily pointed at the weird book I found at very weird place in the library.
" Yes... " said I.
" Wow... ", sighned suddenly Emily, " ... It's beautiful, where did you get it? "
Emily took my book to her hands.
" Oh my Godness! " shouted suddenly Emily.
" What happend? " said I.
" It's cold! "
I was so confused.
" Where did you get that? I've never seen this book before! " said impressed Emily.
" At the weird place, with huge shelves, beautifully ornamented... " I explained but when was Emily looking so confused, I tried to explain more.
" ... You can smell weird smell there... "
Emily looked a way more confused.
After a little while Emily started slowly shaking her head and she frightened and confused looked at me.
" Phoebe, I'm sure, we haven't got anything like that in this library... "

Kdo je Čech a čte české kapitoly, nebojte se zkusit přečíst si kapitolku i anglicky! Můžete si vylepšit angličtinu!
Upřímně, já jsem si čtením a psaním s mou Britskou nejlepší internetovou kamarádkou hodně vylepšila angličtinu.

A podívejte, do jakého levelu angličtiny jsem se dostala, že dokonce umím napsat celý anglický příběh! <3
Anglické kapitoly jsou napsány slovo od slova, takže pokud byste nějaké slovo neznali, stačí ho porovnat s českou kapitolou. ;-)
