Chapter 25

Third Person's POV

Taehyung had just reached home with the help of Hoseok.

"Oh my God, Kim Taehyung. You just scared the shut out of me!!!" Jimin yelled as he hugged his best friend.

"Yahhh, I was alright!! Kookie saved me," Taehyung replied.

"Mama!!" came Taegguk running towards Taehyung.

"Come here, lil buddy!!" Taehyung hugged Taegguk with Jimin still in his embrace.

"Thank God, Taebear you weren't hurt!! If it wasn't Jungkook, you'll be dead meat already!!" Jin exclaimed, worried.

"I'm alright, hyung!!" Taehyung said.

Hoseok just smiled seeing Taehyung spending his time with his family.

Taehyung noticed this.

"Hey, Hoseok. It's getting late out there, care to stay?" he asked.

"I would love too, but I should probably get back to Jeon's," Hoseok replied with a smile.

"Well, alright then," Taehyung said.

Just as Hoseok was about to leave, Taehyung called.

"Hoseok, wait!!"

Hoseok stopped.

He watched as Taehyung went inside then returned with something in his hand.

It was a small box.

"What's this?" Hoseok asked curiously.

"It's a gift for you," Taehyung said.

Hoseok felt surprised.

He had never received anything from anyone ever since he joined the mafia world.

Mafia meant business and there weren't time for gifts.

"Well...I can't take it...it's too much for me, protecting you is my job, I shouldn't have asked for rewards," Hoseok quickly bowed down, apologising.

But Taehyung insisted.

"See, it's a necktie pin," Taehyung said while showing what's inside the box.

A gold necktie pin revealed.

"I..." Hoseok hesitated.

"C'mon, just accept it. You're a part of our family now," Taehyung said with a smile.

And finally, Hoseok agreed.

"Haha, alright," and he accepted the gift.

"I think it's time for me to leave," Hoseok said.
