Time skipped.

Taehyung's POV

It was already late evening, Jin said that we could go home early since the coffee shop closes early today.

Strange.

We were now walking together back home.

It was already near winter here.

We wore our winter coats.

We were laughing and talking together.

Just as soon as we got home, Jin hyung told me to cover both of my eyes.

"Why, hyung?" I asked.

Jin just put his finger on his lips, then said.

"Shhhhh... It's a secret!!"

I smiled.

"Alright, then,"

And I covered my eyes.

I can hear Jin hyung opening the front door...

Pushing me inside...

"Okay, you can open your eyes now, Tae," Jin hyung said.

And I did...

And I was met with the warmest sight I've ever seen...

"Happy birthday, Tae!!!!!" everyone was in there, greeting me.

I was shocked.

Gosh, did I just forgot my own birthday?!

Then I saw Taegguk running towards me.

"Mommy!! Happy birthday!!!" then he kissed me on the cheek.

I smiled at him.

"Awwwwwwww, thanks honey!!" I said.

Taegguk smiled back.

"Come on, mom!! Go and make a wish now!!" Taegguk said while pulling me by his arms towards the table.

I smiled at the sight of the cake that was on the table.

"Jin made that for you, Tae," Namjoon said.

I looked over at Jin, smiling.

"Thank you, hyung," I said.

Jin smiled back.

"You don't have to thank me, Tae!! Besides, you're my brother after all!! I could just bake more if you want,"

And we all laughed at it.

It was a wonderful night for all of us.

Yet I still felt that something's missing...

I felt...

Incomplete...

After the party's over, we all went back to bed.

I just came out from Taegguk's room after putting him to sleep.

I was walking towards my room.

When I was about to open the door, I felt someone watching me.

I turned around to find if anyone's there.

But there was no one.

I sighed.

Stop scaring yourself Tae!! I thought.

Then I went in.

I laid down on my bed.

Just then, I felt chilly.

I just realized that my window's opened.

That's strange. I thought I already locked them.

I walked towards the window and closed it.

Just as I was about to walk back to my bed, I noticed something.

I looked down.

On my desk, there was a small gift box, wrapped neatly, and a letter under it.

I cocked my head to the side thinking who would have put it there.

I took the box and the letter.

I opened the box.

It revealed a beautiful rose gold necklace, with a snowflake pendant on it.

I stared at the necklace in awe.

I then opened the letter and read it.

It said:

Happy birthday, Tae!! I hope you'll always stay beautiful and healthy as always. I bought this necklace cause it reminds me of you. A beautiful boy was born on 30th of December, which represents when it's starting to snow,
Where the first snowflake falls, and that beautiful boy is you, Tae. Cause you are the prettiest snowflake I've ever seen, and I missed you...and our child... So, so much...

I love you.

After reading the letter, I felt as my tears fall down my cheeks.

I clutched the necklace tightly onto my chest, and looked up into the night sky.

I looked out the window, to see that the first snowflake starting to fall right at this moment.

Where the first snowflake falls...

I smiled as I wiped away my tears.

I watched as the snow began to fall more.

It was really a beautiful sight to see.

I sighed.

And whispered softly...

"Thank you..."

"...and I love you too..."
