The Sad Sunny Day

(Your P.O.V)

I woke up at 6 on the dot, I got up realizing what today was. I went to the bathroom and began to get ready, I pulled everything I needed last night and I went into the shower and got cleaned up. When I got done, I placed a white robe the hotel had given us. I got my hair done which was difficult since my hair wet is a pain in the ass.

My body was dry enough and I placed on my white lace bra and black lace underwear, I check the time on my phone and it was 7:25. I had plenty of time since the funearl doesn't start until Noon so I carefully placed on my dress I bought a few day's ago with Mom's help since I have no fashion sense.

The dress was beautiful and it fit nicely, putting it on was no issue but then a problem did happen. I couldn't reach the zipper, I heard some noise from outside the room and I knew Zuko was up. I grab my phone and walk out stopping in front of him.

"Hey Zuko can you zip the back up, I can't reach it so can you please." I ask and with a red face nodded and he helped zip up the dress. I thanked him and he rushed to the bathroom, it was first thing in the morning so he had to go. I went to the mirror in the main area and placed some eyeliner on and a light shade of lip gloss, I went and placed on my heels that I picked out myself that went with the dress.

By the time Zuko was done in the bathroom I was done, he took his time getting ready and by the time he was done it was 8:45. He wore a white dress shirt, black suit pants, and a black tie which he didn't tie correctly and a suit jacket. We got something light to eat after we left the hotel room, of course Zuko was getting calls on the way. I grabbed his phone and silenced it, he was shocked but he knew why I did that. We arrived at the church and I say Mrs. Sukiyama, we walked over and she saw me. Her face was puffy with tears, she looked like a train wreak but that makes sense as her second youngest child is now dead.

She pulled me into a hug and I rubbed her back as she was mine, out of all her children Hope was closest to her. She asks about Zuko and I explain to her that he was here for emotional support and she understoood. We went into the church where I was crushed by Uphemi Hope's older sister, she was tanned and was just skin and bones. That was due to her quirk, she may be weak and frail looking, but if she punchs you your out cold for a week.

"Renni I can't believe she died, I was just joking but I didn't mean to take it this far." She said tears and snot running down her face, I hand her a tissue from the box I carried on me.

"I know but this was a touchy subject for her, and you as well as the other's knew this, so I don't blame you." I told her and she nodded and left. I sighed and we went to a seat, then the service started. I was then called by Father Mokady to speak, I got up and went to the microphone and thanking the Father.

"Hope was my best friend since I moved here as a child all those years ago, I saw her battle with depression, bullying, and drug abuse thought her parents never knew about the last one. She was sweet and kind, honest and bright, but her smile hid many tales. I remember when she told me that she was quirkless, I saw she was sad since she wanted to be a part of her family, I remember going over to her house for an over night stay and hear what her older siblings told her, calling her names and things that drove her down this dark path." I spoke then stopped to wipe some tears that were falling down my face.

"I remember the first she had a Suicidal Episode, she only 7 when it happened. I never used my quirk in front of her, but then her eldest brother Clovis used his quirk and beaten her to a pulp. I had to use my quirk to stop him, but then she ran to the roof top of the school and nearly jumped. If I wasn't there to stop her I think this event would be her much sooner than now, but thought she may be gone from the mortal realm she is still in our hearts." I said tears falling and I bowed and sat down, Zuko grabbing my hand and squeezing it.

The rest of the service was tear jerking, I was glad I brought Zuko with me. I don't think I would've lasted this far without him, we got up and Mrs. Sukiyama offered us a ride to her house. I thanked her and we got into her car, we then drived to their house. It was a early traditional Japanese house, it had a familiar scent as I walked in. I saw Hope's grandfather there as well, he was old fashion but he accepted change. I walked over and he hugged me, he loved Hope since she looked just like his wife her grandmother. We spent the rest of the day at the house, night had came and we said good bye and said sorry for her losses.

We checked out of the hotel and then headed to the station, I called his Mom and told her that he was staying at my place since it's closer and how late it was. She thanked me for telling her and hung up, after the long train ride we arrived to my apartment. I made something light for dinner and then we watched some movies.

(Midoriya P.O.V)

I didn't realize we both slept until my alarm on my phone goes off. I turned it off and saw it was 6 we had less than an hour to get to school, I tried to get off but something was stopping me I look and saw Ren was sleeping on my lap. I felt my face turn red and I shouted too loudly and she stirred, she sat up and then went red. I promised not to say anything and she thanked me for going with her to the funearl, we got ready and then left the apartment.

I walk in after Ren who went ahead so we didn't be seen together. None of the class was there yet so we were alright, she placed her ear buds in and no phone call this time. I was doing the homework we had to do during the weekend which I never did. I was done when Ren began to cry, I rush over and saw what she was watching. It was a video of the service, I lightly touch her shoulder and she was puffy red again and she cried into my stomach and I soothe her.

Then the rest of the class came in and misunderstood. I went red while Ren stood up and took their phone's and deleted the photo, she was still puffy but had a blush on her face. Then Kacchan came in and he went from 0-60 watts of anger after looking at Ren.

"WHO THE FUCK MADE MY FUCKING SISTER CRY?!?!?! ANSWER ME YOU EXTRA'S, WAS IT YOU DEKU IF SO YOUR MINCE MEAT!!!" Shouted Kacchan as he then was walking over towards me but then Ren stopped him with a mini explosions not setting any of the desks on fire.

(Your P.O.V)

I wasn't in the mood for his shit, then he just think Zuko did something wrong. He doesn't even know the whole story but he decides to blame him, not gonna happen on my watch. As Mr. PissyPants began to walk over and kill him, I get up and stop him with a small explosion.

"He didn't do anything, if fact he was trying to calm my crying when you guys came in. Now brother if you have any brain in you, do you remember what I asked you on Friday afternoon after class?" I ask and he shakes his head.

"Why am I not surprised. I asked you if you wanted to come with me up North for my friends funearl which happened just yesterday. Zuko was with me as emotional support since my brother was too thick headed to care about anyone else but himself. I was only crying now as I was watching the video that someone who was at the service made, and I had gotten to my speech then I broke. So no nobody did anything but my dumb self for watching it, anything else my annoying brother?" I say, he shakes his head and then class began. I was calmer for the rest of the day and the rest of the week was alright.

Author's opinion: Here we go, I know this is a bit unorganized but I wrote it so here you go. This wasn't plot based chapter but oh well, I haven't been to a funearl in years but I did my best. I hope you enjoyed this and until next time bye
