What of Me

The sun will shine, the days pass through.

The sky turns grey, the sky turns blue.

The wind picks up the leaves fall down,

The fields they pull the past around.

The clock will tick, the bell will chime,

The day turns dark, gone is my time.

The shadows creep the feelings fall,

The teeth they're red the eyes they're small.

The trees such whisper quiet blame,

All they do is shout my name.

I cannot breathe the air is light,

I will not stop, I'll make it right.

The air turns grey, the sky turns cold,

The new ones come, do what they're told.

My name is gone my light is short.

The darkness passed the moon is low.

The sun does shine, the days pass through,
