The moment we separated each other after what happened to us in the bathroom I looked for my cousin Sadnah. Kanina pa ako naglalakad pero hindi ko pa makita ang pinsan ko kaya naman ay naisipan ko nalang na maghanap ng mauupuan.
"Hey! Are you lost or your looking for someone?" I took a glance when I heard a familiar voice beside me. The moment I saw his face he's already smiling at me.
He is the guy that I owe money! Yes! He is here for real!
"Ah, I know you!" was the only thing I uttered and then I laughed because of the awkwardness. Yes, Im so embarrassed because he saw my hickey last time.
"Yeah, I came here to ask if you lost again."
"No, I'm just looking for someone."
"By the way Miss, I am Philip Gam, please call me Philip." Nakangiting sabi niya at inabot niya ang kamay niya sakin. Ngumiti ako at kinamayan ko siya.
"Oh yeah! Uhm.. I am Sadnah." I introduced myself.
"Sadnah? I think I once heard your name. Its look like familiar to me"
"Of course not. I am just a somebody! Maybe your mistaken." I said.
"If you mind can you give a dance? You don't have to pay just give me a dance in exchange." I automatically raised my eyebrow when I heard what he said.
"Sure! I don't have money here so I think the best decision here is to accept your offer." I smiled and the moment I offered my hand to him he guided me to the floor. We dance the music that is already played. We just feel the classical music.
"So why are you here Miss Sadnah?"
"I just came here uninvited." I said confidently.
"really?" he laughed.
"Yes, Mr. Philip."
"Come on! The last time I saw you, you lost your way out of the expensive hotel and now I met you here in this event I kept thinking who is this woman in front of me? You probably not the wife of my boss right?"
"Boss? Then who is your boss?"
"You dont have to know, I believe your single." the moment I heard those words to him I started to laugh.
"I'm single? Come on! Dont make me laugh."
"Its nice seeing you Miss Sadnah. I enjoy our dance, I hope we meet again."
Gumilid na kami ng matapos namin ang bagong salang na kanta. Nagpaalam na din siyang may pupuntahan pero bago pa siya makaalis ay pinigilan ko na siya.
"By the way Mr Philip. You said that I dont need to pay the money I owe you right? It is okay if I asked you again to lend me a money? I think my cousin left me here, I dont have money for a taxi." nahihiya akong ngumiti sa harapan ni Mr Philip pero nakita ko naman siyang may kinuha sa wallet niya.
"No problem Miss Sadnah."
"Thank you." I thanked him the moment I got the money from him. I was taking my way out of the venue when someone grabbed my arms.
Kinakabahan akong lumingon sa humila sakin at nagulat ako dahil hindi ko siya kilala. Bago pa man ako makahingi ng tulong ay bigla nalang niyang tinakpan ng panyo ang bibig ko at doon ay dahan dahan akong nawalan ng malay.
