Galatea was created by the sculptor Pygmalion. He wanted to mold the perfect woman; a fantasy with no identity of her own outside of his allowances. Aphrodite granted his prayer and brought the statue to life.

This collection is a mosaic of things that have created my identity. Life experiences, books that I've read, ancient myths and modern tragedies that have affected me. Pieces chipping me into the person that I've become.

A reflection of my own Galatean creation, the hammer and chisel in my own hands, finding a place to fall in love with my own story.
