Bayley POV:
He opened my door then walked to the other side of the car
"Do you wanna get food on the way to the hotel I'm starving" he laughed
I chuckled "sure"
We quickly ate and got back in the car driving towards the hotel
"You look tired are you sure you're okay?" He asked. I could see the worry in his eyes
I was tired but I think it was just because it was past midnight "I'm fine Finn really but thanks for looking out for me"
"Of course" he smiled looking away from the road at me but for a little too long.
"FINN LOOK OUT!" I screamed bracing myself for impact. I felt Finn put his hand in front of me. We hit the guard rail. At least it wasn't the car.
I was trying to calm myself down when he spoke "Bayley I'm so so sorry are you okay?!" He asked frantically
"Besides the wind being knocked out of me I'm fine. Are you okay?" I asked him in return while grabbing his chin to look for any injuries
"I'm okay." We stared at each other again until the driver of the other car came up to our window and knocked on it
Finn rolled it down and started frantically apologizing "I'M SO SORRY I WASN'T WATCHING WHERE I WAS GOING ARE YOU OR ANYONE ELSE HURT?!"
The woman who was driving the other car looked confused "I'm fine. I wasn't watching where I was going either I was texting. Are you guys okay?" She looked young. Maybe 22. "We're okay."
We called the police and took care of all of it and Finn agreed to pay for the damages of the guard rail and his own car while the woman in the other car agreed to pay for her own car.
We finally got a lift from the cops to our hotel and we thanked them making it into the lobby
"Finally no more wheels" I lightheartedly joked as we entered the elevator
"Bayley I'm seriously so sorry" he looked so upset with himself
"Finn stop I'm okay and so are you and the other driver it's okay"
We got out and got into our room with one bed and a couch. As we had already fought over it and came to an agreement I sat down on the bed taking my shoes off getting comfy.
"You should get some rest Bay" he said soothingly walking towards the couch
"What are you doing?" I asked him
"Getting ready for bed?"
"We already went through this you're sleeping in the bed. You need it especially tonight"
He reluctantly got up and got in bed next to me. He made some space between us before turning the lights off
"Uh Finn?" I asked quietly. This is embarrassing but I feel like it would make us both feel better
"Yeah Bay?" He asked turning to face me
"Could I maybe...I don't know cuddle with you tonight? I feel like it would calm me down and-" god I'm so weird
Surprisingly he just smiled at me and opened his arms for me to lay my head on his chest and he wrapped his arms back around my waist tightly. I could feel his heart beat and I felt my head being moved up and down with every breath he took. I was right it would calm me down. Maybe I'll get some actual sleep
