Dread

The next day

Chan paced back and forth in his room, anxiety creeping in on him.

The clouds bore an ominous darkness that coated the coast. The waves rustled harshly as a torrential downfall of rain pours down.

An omen he thought, though he tried to shove it down along with his growing panic.

Where are they? He checked his watch constantly and glanced up at the wall clock hesitantly. 

They should be here by now. 

Chan startled at the sound of a knock. He rushed to the door and jerked it open, only to find Felix. His eyes widened as he backed up, startled by Chan's actions.

"Is everything ok Chan?" He asked, concern tuning his voice as he focused his worried gaze on his beloved leader and brother.

"No it's nothing" Chan laughed lightly though Felix could tell it was fake. "I I-I I just wasn't expecting to see you " which was true.

He gave Felix a weak smile, but Felix could tell it was feigned, but he held his tongue.

"So what's up?" He asked a little too casually,  while closing the door behind Felix.

"I was just wondering if you knew where Woojin, Minho, Jisung and Changbin are." Sitting on the bed next to him.

"The manager went grocery shopping and they decided to join him" Chan said, his gaze looked off.

Before Felix came he checked on Jeongin and Hyunjin, both were snoring in their beds, while Seungmin sat and watched TV quietly.

To be honest Felix couldn't help but feel lonely his room with both Jisung and Minho gone.

"I also came to check on you" he said breaking the silence. Chan turned his gaze on him surprised " You came to check on me?" He asked bewildered. Then he smiled "last time I checked that should be my job" he chuckled awkwardly.

"I just thought you'd might get lonely with Woojin and Changbin gone" said Felix looking down.

Chan gave him a sympathetic look and sat beside him sliding his arm over his shoulder. "Guess I'm not the only one then, huh?" Felix nodded sheepishly

"Well let's not worry about them, I'm sure they're fine" Chan wasn't sure who he was trying to reassure, him or himself.

Felix nodded, but then he spoke up "Did you know Sana was a Stay?" He asked suddenly.

"Yeah I knew, did you not?"

"No. How did you know? Felix asked

"Her eyes widened when we first entered the building, when you went up to her desk."

"That could be cause I startled her from her thoughts." Said Felix

"Yes true, but I could also tell she was itching to sing Hellavator along with us. " Chan suddenly looked at him "and she also blushed when you spoke in your deep voice"

Felix's eyes widened.

He didn't catch that. Did he really make her blush?

Something made his heart thump at the thought. 

His thoughts cascaded to when he helped her to her chair. He couldn't help but admire her determination to pray even though she was injured and she slipped thr hijab over her head.
