"Dale!" napalingon ang dalaga sa tumawag sa kanya.

She's at one of the finest restaurants in Edsa Shangri-la. She's staying there ever since she arrived in the country almost a week ago. Doon narin niya piniling kitain ang mga kaibigan. Its been 10 years since she last saw and talked to them, and she can say that she missed them so much.

Nakita niyang nakanging kumakaway sa kanya si Kirsten. One of the reason kung bakit napauwi siya ng bansa ay dahil sa nalalapit nitong kasal at ni Marco. She couldn't believe na ang mga ito talaga ang magkakatuluyan sa huli. Sa likod nito ay si Jinry, Ellyze at Cora.

Tumayo siya mula sa kinauupuan at sinalubong ang mga ito ng yakap. She was very excited to see them again.

"Oh God! I missed you so much girls!" naluluhang sabi niya matapos yakapin isa isa ang mga ito.

"Really? Then bakit ngayon ka lang nakipagkita sa amin." may tampo sa tinig na sabi ni Ellyse, may malilit na butil ng luha sa gilid ng mga mata nito. "Geez, you've been here for almost a week pero ngayon ka lang nagpakita. It's not as if ang lakilaki ng Metro Manila." dagdag pa nito.

Natatawang inakbayan niya ang kaibigan. "I'm sorry ok? I had important matters to attend to these past few days." she explained bago inakay ang mga ito sa reserved table para sa kanila.

"Mas importante kaysa sa amin?" si Jinry na kababakasan din ng tampo ang tinig.

"C'mon girls. It's a family matter, and besides I want to spend my time with you guys na walang iniisip na gagawin." she smiled to Jinry.

"So, how's life in the states?" si Kirsten ng makaupo na silang lahat.

She tried her best to give them her most cheerful smile.

"It was great. The weather though, nahirapan akong magadjust, but don't all Asians do?" natatawang biro niya sa mga ito. "I went to Harvard School of Music and Arts, after graduation I've worked for a music studio as assistant musical director. Ngayon, I needed a break from work kaya naisipan kong umuwi, sakto naman na ikakasal ka." she kept her smiles habang nagsasalita.

"Yeah, I'm so glad you could come to my wedding. At least makukumpleto na tayo after 10 long years." bakas sa tinig ni kirsten ang galak.

"How's your love life?" sa kaunaunahang pagkakataon mula kanina ay tanong ni Cora. She can't understand, but she feels like medyo indifferent sa kanya ang kaibigan.

"There's really nothing to tell about it." natatawang sagot niya, ignoring the indifference that her friend is showing her.

"Really? What happened to you and Conner?" si Ellyze with full of confusion.

"Yeah, what happened to you and Conner?" si Cora na tinitigan siya ng matiim sa mga mata.

"Conner and I are friends." she answered.

"But you went there with him and stayed there with him for 10 years." kunot noong sabu ni Jinry. "When you left, we are all convinced that you two are just friends, aside from Edward, all of us never believed that you are inlove with him. But as years passed na wala kaming balita sa inyong dalawa, and both of you stayed in the states together, we even thought that you guys were already married. " mahabang sabi nito.

" We are just friends. It's true that we stayed together all these years, but Conner and I remained as good friends. I wouldn't lie to you guys. " she said.

" You have. " si Cora.

Napatingin siya dito." What do you mean? "

" You never told us why you left 10 years ago. "
