Sabrina's POV

Andrew got us up the next morning, to do our shopping. When I looked out of the window, I noticed it was still dark out. He apparently thought it would be appropriate to wake us all up at 5am! The twins didn't even seem very impressed they shot me a few glares at being woken up this early. They didn't even seem to be functioning properly this early. When they came out there rooms dressed, I noticed Fred had managed to put an extra pair of trousers on like a jacket, pulling it over his arms around his back, and George had somehow managed to pull a top over his legs like a pair of shorts. Thankfully my giggles had woken them up a bit more, so they realised how ridiculous they looked, before running back into their room to change. They finally remerged (clothes on in all the right place) with their ears bright crimson from embarrassment.

Chris grabbed a yellow taxi, and had it take us to Macy's Herald Square. He guided us past the Muggles, who were just starting to open up their shops, and leading us to the Wizarding section, where we separate to buy some clothes for the Party. When we meet back up Chris then admits there is another surprise that has been planned for the morning....

"Dad says, we get a Christmas Eve present to enjoy all together. As we can't have one during the party" Chris says, holding out his hand, as I take it and then George's, who then takes Fred's. We instantly apparate to the top of the One World Observatory.

"Wow" I gasp.

Before me is a full view of Manhattan in the Christmas Eve snow. Chris and Fred wonder round, as Chris points out the different tourist attractions. Apparently Fred likes the idea of living here, when he is older – all the potential people to prank and sell too – New York is the shopping capital of the world!

I walk up to the glass, with George standing closely at my side.

"This is incredible" He whispers to me quietly.

"Yeah it is" I whisper back smiling up at him. This atmosphere is so sweet and romantic - I wanna kiss him – No you are dating Oliver! Sweet, intelligent, mad about you Oliver. I look back at the snow falling view of New York – yeah.......but I love George.

Chris takes us to the little café on the Observatory, for some well needed coffee and breakfast. We all sit silently, watching the sun rise peacefully over New York – I have to admit it - Andrew's attempts of buttering me up are working – I'm still on edge about tonight though. Most of all I'm worried about the twins. This will a miracle if they are able to blend in with Andrew's crowd. I only just managed to get the hang of it after a few years of practice.

                                                                                                *

We make it back to the apartment to get ready, noticing the hired work already cooking like crazy in the kitchen, cleaning away the non-existent dust, and hanging up Christmas Decorations all around – apparently some families actuall put up the tree together – as a family.

I manage to also catch a glimpse of a couple of stools, acoustic guitars and a Piano being set up in the far corner, with white twinkling lights hanging above it, to try and brighten it up like a stage. We all separate to our rooms to get showered and changed for the party. I put on my make up before my new dress, shoes, bracelet and rings (one for each hand). I choose a silver outfit so I could be 'as sweet as snow for Andrew' tonight – Why do I keep having getting horrible feeling that something bad is going to happen tonight?

I was just putting on my earrings, and admiring my gold knee length dress in the mirror and how it seemed to compliment my creamy-pink shoes, when I hear two sets of knocking at my door.

"Come in" I call, as the last earring goes through my piecing.

"Hey, we were wond...." George begins, stopping dead at the door, staring at me – My heart is not quickening at the sight of him. Or at how amazing he looks in his dark Navy Blue Dress robes – it is quickening from the nerves of the party – yeah er nerves....party...

"You ok? You look like you've - " stepping in front of George, before turning and opening his eyes to look at me " - seen a gho...." Fred has opened his eyes fully, and also stops dead staring at me – He looks pretty good in his dark red dress robes too – I'd have to disagree with Fred on this occasion though – George is currently the better-looking Twin. What are they staring at? Do I look ugly in this dress? I turn to put my make-bag back inside the desk drawer, trying to ignore their pressing eyes on me.

"Ah my little sister.....still able to Freeze people on sight I see" Chris calls proudly steeping in and walking over to me, to give me a proudly peck on the cheek "Got your hair in Andrew's favourite style I see – nice touch.....Just like..."

" - Mum's" I answer for him. His eyes are shining slightly, just like mine at the thought of her. Christmas has always been the hardest for him – even harder than Mother's Day – it doesn't help his birthday is only a few days later on New Year's day – new beginnings and all that. Nope not for Chris, it just reminds him, that his mother gave birth to him, and she can't be here to celebrate the new beginnings with him.

Chris coughs more confidently, the way Andrew does, when he is uncomfortable at his own emotion "Shall we?" he asks extending his arm, which I take gracefully, heading towards the door. The twins step aside watching us walk by, and follow us down the hall – This is gonna be hell!
