Chapter 3: You Owe Us One

Your head shot toward the direction where the steps were coming from. You began to growl like a guard dog. Alerting them that someone's there. The steps were at the door, and you readied your powers. The five look at you with confusion. The door creeked open and in came a rabbit and a Chao. You stopped growling and put your powers away.

"Cream?" You knew Cream before you were taken to the G.U.N place.

"MRS. (Y/N)!" Cream ran up and hugged you. You didn't hug back, but you missed her touch.

"Ch-Chao!!!((y/n)!!!)" Cheese yelled, hugging you as well.

"You guys know eachother?" Sonic asked. You and Cream nod your heads.

"How?" Amy asked. Shadow rolled his eyes and folded his arms like usual.

"Non of your business! The way we met was they way we met!" You growled. Cream looked like she didn't like the new you.

"What happened to the fun, loving, and adorable you? Your (worst favorite color) fur? And your-" You cut off Cream.

"Don't you dare finish that sentence! That is not me anymore Cream, get used to it!" You bellowed. Cream looked scared now. She slowly backed up, away from you.

"What happened? The last time I-" You cut Cream off again.

"I said, don't finish that sentence!" You bellowed. You really scared Cream now, she was terrified.

"Leave her alone!" Sonic yelled. Your eyes began to glow a bit

"You mind your own business Sonic! This doesn't concern you! This is why I said no to staying here!" You were about to burn the house down. But you resisted because they helped you. But you could care less. So, you left and went back into the forest. Shadow sighs and leaves after you.

"Where are you going?" Sonic asked.

"Non of your business Sonic" Shadow entered the forest to chase after you. He stopped in the middle of no where. Then all of a sudden you were in front of Shadow with a knife up to his neck. He didn't flinch.

"Oh, it's you" you put your knife down and away. "What do you want?" You ask.

"I was wanting to talk" Shadow placed a hand on his hip.

"Yeah well, I don't" You growl, climbing the trees like a jaguar.

"I was being sarcastic, I didn't feel like listening to their complaining, so I came here in my forest" Shadow spoke. You paused and and looked at him.

"You mean my forest" you jumped off the tree.

"No, this is my forest, the forest of Shadows" Shadow explained.

"Shadow is my middle name, so, lets say neither" You jump back up in the tree.

"Fine" he growled back. You look back at him. And you two stared into each others eyes. "You don't have to answer, but how do you know Cream?"

"That..... I can't tell you" you frown and look back into the forest. Then you remembered that you had to go to an abandoned place to get something.

"I have to go, if you get into trouble, press this red button" You hand him a watch with a red button on the side. You wore one as well. This is what you call a token of trust. Your token to show who you trust. You left through the trees, leaving him there by himself. On your way to this place, you felt weird. You had a weird feeling about something. Something didn't feel right. You felt watched. You check your surroundings, nothing. You walk in and saw someone.

"Hello dear" A voice came. You gasp and look at the couch where a tall and fit man sat. "Or I should I say, experiment 302?" He stood. You knew who he was.

"I have a name you know! And second! What are you doing here!?" You yell. You position your hand to the watch.

"I am here for this" he held up the Chaos emerald you guard. You pressed the red button and now Shadow could hear everything. "I am also here for you and Experiment Shadow"

"Well guess what!? Too bad! We will never EVER go back to that death place!" You shouted.

~With Shadow

Shadow gasped before growling at what he was hearing. He is at Sonic's house and the others heard this to.

"Who's that? And where is it coming from?" Tails asked.

"You lay a hand on me, him, or any of our friends you'll be dead faster than you ruined our lives!" Everyone looked toward Shadow, where they heard the noise.

"Ooh! What's that?" Rouge asked him. In a flash Shadow was out the door and toward your location. Sonic and the others ran after him. Once he was there the entire place was covered in G.U.N soldiers.

"Now my dear, we may do this the easy way, or the hard way?" He asked, you felt your sarcastic self rise.

"What's the difference?" You ask.

"The easy way is, you come with me with out a fight and we won't harm your friends"

"And the hard way?" You ask.

"You fight us and we kill them" he pointed to a group of men holding Sonic, Tails, Rouge, Amy, and Knuckles. But no Shadow. You nod and take a second to think.

"(Y/n)! Don't do it! Save yourself!" Sonic yelled, struggling against the man. The man was ready to punch him, but was interrupted by you.

"Fine, if you hurt them, you die..... but first" the captain of the soldiers was knocked out by a black blur. Along with the ones holding all of your "friends". The rest of the soldiers come in and start shooting. You quickly grab the emerald and run off to take them out. Shadow brought out his guns and began shooting the soldiers. Amy... her Piko Piko hammer, Rouge.... her flight attacks, Tails... (i have no idea! XD), Sonic... his basic attacks even injured them, and Knuckles.... well his knuckles of course. Once all of the soldiers were taken out, you and the gang were out faster than the speed of light.

"You guys owe us one!"
