Chapter 14: The Gang To The Rescue

You sat in the cell, dying without your rings(bracelets). You began to shake again, falling on the floor back first. A man comes up to your cell bars and chuckles.

"Not to long before you die" he chuckled. No longer did he say that, Shadow and the crew were right there. "Ahh, there you are, we were wondering where you were" then man chuckled again. The boys growl at him.

"Give her back her bracelets! We are here now, you got what you wanted" Shadow growled. The man smirks and looks toward a few more cells and a tube.

"Project Shadow, step inside the tube and order them to walk into the cages. Then we will spare her" he pointed to the cells and tube. Shadow sighs and look toward them. Shadow nods his head and they begin walking toward where they were ordered.

"No! D-d-d-don't d-o it! He *cough* is l-lying!" You softly yelled. Shadow sighed and walked into the tube. It automatically locks him in. The rest walk into the cells, the doors automatically shut and lock as well.

"Good job, now......... you will watch her parish" the man chuckled. The gang begin banging on the bars and the glass. Shouting to let them out or to give her the bracelets. He leaves the cells. No men on the inside, but everywhere on the out side. Your throat begged to cough, but you didn't have the energy to do so.

"No!" Shadow growled, he continued to bang on the glass. Hoping to break it.

"D-Don't bother, h-helping m-me. Help..... yourselves" you lay on the floor, almost dead.

"That's not gonna happen! I won't let you die" Shadow shouted, banging harder on the glass. "Not again"

"There has to be a way out!" Sonic shouted. Running and power kicking the bars. No use. Knuckles tried using his knuckles to break them, didn't work. Your breath was heavy, and scratched. Your eyes tried to stay open. You tried to fight it.

"Tails! Can you think of a way to use any of these things to unlock them so we can help (y/n)?" Sonic asked. Tails gasped and scurried around in the cell. Looking fr something to use.

"Hurry! She has one minute!" Shadow shouted. It was hard for him to addmit, but he cared.

"I-I'm trying!" Tails rummaged through the hay in the cell. Weaving them together to make a key.

"Don't worry a-abou.... abou" you tried to speak, but that became to difficult as well. Shadow gasped and began banging on the glass even harder.

"Wait a minute. Shadow! Roll into a ball and use your quills to break through. While I use mine to unlock the cage" Sonic plucked a quill off of his head and stuck it in the lock. That's when.... your breathing stoped, your eyes closed shut, your heart stopped beating. Shadow did just that, breaking the glass. An alarm went off, alerting them that Shadow had broken out. Tails unlocked his cell and went to go help the others. Sonic was out and running around, trying to find your life rings. Shadow ran up to your cage and tried making sure you were still alive.

"(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Please! Get up!" Shadow yelled. He quickly took a quill off his head and unlocked your cell door. Quickly kneeling down to you. Holding you in his arms. "Where is her life rings!?" Shadow asked. Knuckles and Rouge ran over to help keep the door closed so the G.U.N wouldn't get in. Sonic could not find them. So, Shadow took one of his off and put it on you. Nothing.

"Guys! We have to get out of here!" Knuckles shouted. Having a lot of trouble keeping the door fully closed. Sonic pulled your Chaos emerald out and held it up.

"Chaos Control!" Sonic shouted. Teleporting all of you back to his house. Shadow still had you in his arms. You still didn't move. Which worried them all.

"(Y/n)!" Shadow shook you slightly. Nothing. Amy and Tails began to cry. Knuckles and Sonic held back tears. Rouge looked away in sadness. Shadow had tears streaming sown his cheeks. Rouge then gasped and remembered something.

"Shadow" she called, Shadow looked up at Rouge. Rouge held out your life rings. She had stolen them when walking through the G.U.N HQ. Shadow gasped and put them on you, taking his back. There was still nothing from you.
