vivian made herself presentable and got all of her stuff together before heading to the cafe. she drove and found a parking space.

she sighed before noticing joe was standing outside the shop.

vivian.jade: i'm here, just parked though. kind of got my hands full.

joe_mazzello: okay, need help?!

vivian.jade: you're more than welcome to come see for yourself

she got out of the car and made her way over to the passenger side and opened the back door. joe approached the car, not knowing what to expect.

"this is paisley." vivian stepped aside so joe could see who she was referencing to.

there in the back seat was a seven month old baby girl, looking at joe, and smiling from ear to ear.

"is she what made you think i wouldn't want to see you?"

"yeah..you're the only other person who knows about her now." vivian got her out of the car seat.

"she's adorable. cmon, let's go get a coffee and get to know each other." joe smiled, causing
vivian to feel at ease.

"you really wanna see a girl who has a baby?"

"life throws you some unexpected things. i never would've guessed you had a baby. but i like you, and i think i'd like paisley." joe gave her a reassuring smile. they approached the coffee shop door, and joe held the door open for the mother and daughter.

"thank you." she smiled. maybe this could work out.
