Q: Why did Ivyleaf remain mates with Blacktail even though he killed her brother?
A: This question is one that even confused myself when planning out A Changed Fate. She remained with him and continued to meet with him because she believed that she may able to convert him back to the side of good. She even decided to have kits with him in hopes that being a father would change him. However, that did not work and she was stuck to raise their kits on their own. Thankfully, she got help from Frostpath, later became deputy, and everything turned out well for her.
