Nick looked so peaceful when he slept. I smiled and sighed loving every moment of this. This is all I wanted and I wanted it forever. I could be open and vulnerable with him. He made me feel comfortable and he never once judged me.

I sank down a little into the couch and put my head back. My fingers ran slowly through his light brown hair and I closed my eyes allowing myself to get comfortable.

Lillian, do you take Nick

I OBJECT!!

Who's there!?!?

He walked over and ripped my hand away from Nick and started to tug at me down the aisle

No! I don't love you!! I don't want you!!!

The more he tugged the further and further Nick got away. I ripped my hand away and pushed him down and ran towards Nick. But he just kept moving further and further away.

"Lilly! Lillian!!"

I gasped and grabbed onto the first thing I could reach. Nick was leaning over me watching me concerned and holding onto my shoulders. I swallowed hard trying to catch my breath and realized I had grabbed his shirt

"Sorry...I know I woke you..."

"You were calling my name. I tried several times to wake you up. Are you OK?"

"Yeah" I nodded "hold me?"

Nick sat down next to me and pulled me close wrapping his arms around me. I laid my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes trying to calm down. I loved the smell of his cologne or maybe it was his aftershave, but I loved it none the less and it was comforting. My hands wouldn't stop trembling no matter how hard I tried so I held onto his shirt and tight as I could

"Shhhh. You're safe. I'm here. Just try to relax and calm down."

He gently kissed my forehead and leaned his cheek against my head. He held on tight and caressed my arm every so often. I felt bad. I didn't want to ruin our nice time. I hadn't dreamed like that in ages. I must've been sleeping hard.

I could feel myself slowly relaxing as my grip on his shirt loosened. He smiled and kissed my forehead again

"That's better. I won't let anything happen to you Lilly."

I didn't want him to let go. If we could've stayed this way all night I wouldn't have minded at all. I could feel him shift and start to pull away slightly. A wave of panic came over me as I tried to hold on.

"No. Please." I begged

"It's alright. Let's get to bed. I'll hold you all night if I have to." He smiled

I nod and stood up slowly. He bent down and picked up his black shoulder bag and put his arm around me. I smiled leaning my head against him and walked to the bedroom. I was suddenly nervous. I didn't really know why. Maybe it was because we were sleeping in the same bed for the first time. There should've been no real reason to be nervous, but I was.

"Lilly? Are you OK?"

"Hmm? Oh..yeah. Sorry."

I shook my head and turned on the light in the large walk-in closet. One side was completely empty except for a few random plastic hangers and an extra dresser Gabe left behind.

"So...you can put your stuff here if you want or if you're more comfortable putting it next to the bed. It's whatever you want."

He chuckled at me and dropped his bag and dug through it.

"Nervous?"

"Huh?" I asked confused "me? No...why?"

"You're such a bad liar Lilly" he teased
