This is my first time visiting Florida. To be honest, I'm not sure if I had any expectations of my vacation with my friends, but this wasn't anything what I had in mind.

When Kay, Julie, and I decided to save up and take a week long vacation to Miami, we had hoped to be in beautiful heat, party at night, and stay in a wonderful hotel. Well, it's a few hours since we landed and our hair is messed up from the humidity, there's traffic everywhere, and our hotel reservations almost got cancelled until Kay started giving the woman a piece of her mind.

"So what the fuck do you expect us to do?" Kay cursed at the receptionist as Julie and I sat in the hotel lobby, guarding our luggage.

"This isn't how this was supposed to work out, we should be on the beach right now!" Julie sighed, running her hands through her light blonde hair. "We saved for months, we cut out fast food for this, why is this our karma for dumping Taco Bell?" She whined. I couldn't help but laugh, honestly. I was equally frustrated but at this point all I had patience for was laughter.

"So," Kay grumbled as she walked over to us, taking the last spot on the bench we all sat on. "They said they have one more room, but apparently there's a secret celebrity staying in this hotel and we need to 'share with them and expect a crowd outside for the night' as that dumb bitch behind the desk said." Kay's face was red as a stop sign and her black hair was puffy from the humidity.

"Toby, you're really quiet." Julie poked at me, giving me the best smile she could. "What do you think we should do?"

"I don't know, I guess take the room. Even if it's just for tonight. Maybe they will reimburse us for the inconvenience after the celebrity leaves?" I tie my brown hair up in a ponytail so my neck can breathe. Out of us three, my hair was the longest and the heaviest. "I just wanna go to the beach, honestly." Both the girls laughed at my comment, nodding their heads in defeat.

Kay stands up and pulls her dark blue sundress down to straighten out the wrinkles. "Don't let this lady test my patience anymore, ladies." She spoke as she walked up to the front desk. We couldn't hear their conversation but the thumbs up we got from Kay as she walked back to us signaled we were good to go.

We reached our room on the second floor, they promised to give us a bigger room due to inconvenience. Not much bigger if you asked me, but they closed down most of the halls with the nicer rooms because of the celebrity.

"At least it has three beds?" I tried to be optimistic as we each set our luggage on a bed.

"I suppose." Julie sighed, sitting on her white bedspread. "I say we just go to the beach and get a plan together afterward."

"It is a really beautiful day out." Kay spoke as she opened the curtains, revealing a small balcony. "But they didn't lie when they warned me about fans waiting outside." She waved us over to the window, pressing her pointer finger out towards the hundreds of people waiting outside.

"Who do you think it could be that they're all here for?" I pulled out my phone, unsure of why I'm so curious about this.

"Doesn't matter! The sun is only out for another three hours and I wanna tan!" Julie groaned and walked away from the window, taking her top off and pulling out her red bikini from her suitcase.

"Jules is right, lets get ready." I rub Kay's shoulder before we all get everything ready to go for the beach.

Twenty minutes later, we have towels, sunscreen, tanning lotion, and other beach objects packed. I've never felt too confident in a bikini, but I like how the emerald green color of it compliments my tan skin and dark brown hair. I threw on a romper over myself so the walk down to the beach wouldn't feel so revealing, with all the fans and cameras here for the celebrity. Kay and Julie didn't mind as much, wearing only shorts, with their top half exposed. They had killer bodies though, so I wasn't surprised.
