I'm pushed back on my bed, Seonghwa's body hovering over mine as his fingers unfold the towel around my body. Our lips never break contact, as if we both know that we'd have to stop everything if we stopped kissing.
His fingertips send chills down my body as they graze my breast just above my bikini top. I don't waste time as I untie the knot behind my head myself. I've wanted this since I first laid eyes on his body. He pulls my emerald green top off, throwing it off the bed. Unable to resist under his touch, I moan the second his thumb skims against my areola.
His tongue wrestles with mine between our mouths, occasionally he'd bite my bottom lip, clearly teasing me more than he was before. His large hand cups my breast, squeezing just enough to bring both of us pleasure.
"Do you want me?" Seonghwa mumbles against my lips, his voice vibrating in my head.
"Yes.." I barely manage to say. I'm already out of breath.
"Perfect." I've never heard his voice go this low. It's so hot...we're so hot. I don't ever want this moment to e—
"Um...bad timing?" Kay's voice startles both of us before her and Julie both laugh, walking back out of the room. Seonghwa covers me up as if it was a reflex, holding the towel over my body just enough to hide my exposed chest.
We wait until their laughs fade down the hall before either of us move. Seonghwa smirks down at me and begins to pull the towel off of me again. I can't believe I'm about to do this...
"No, stop." I surprise both of us with the statement, tangling my fingers through my dark hair that was barely hanging on in the style of a ponytail. "I...this...we....we can't." I stutter, holding the towel with my own hand so I can reach down for my bikini top. My stained shirt is closer to my grip so I grab that instead.
Seonghwa crawls off of me as if he was a puppy I had just kicked. He looks so genuinely hurt.
"Tob, I'm so sorry." He took a pillow and held it over his lap, barely sitting on the bed to give me space.
"You need to leave." I sigh, pulling on my shirt and looking anywhere but at him. Reality is crashing in my head like a bad migraine.
"Can we just talk?" I felt his hand on my lower knee, rubbing gentle circles into my skin just above my kneecap. He almost captures my interest, but I have to protect my heart.
"I..um...no." I bite my lip, looking down at his hand. "Seriously, you need to leave." I stand up, tugging on my shirt as if that would help me feel less exposed and embarrassed.
He stands up with me and his once disappointed expression turned into an angry one. His dark brown eyes turned red with fury and his full lips were pursed like I've never seen before.
"Seonghwa.." I mumble, clear shock falling on my face.
I watch as Seonghwa's fingers rake through his blonde hair, tugging at his own roots. Something I wish I was almost doing...
"Fine. I will go. But I hope you realize this," he walks up close to me, making me flinch because I wasn't expecting it, "this means something to me. The first time anything has ever meant something to me in a very long time. Sure, you keep saying we only have a week, but why can't you just trust that I will make you happy for the next five days? You can sit there all day and fight your mind from worrying about what happens after today, after whatever just happened. But you know for certain—I know you know—that you feel something here too. That's something you can't fight." Seonghwa breathes and takes a few steps back, resting his hands on his hips. "I'll go now." He huffs and storms out of the room, leaving me there in total silence.
I was not expecting him to blow up like that. However, after all the things I've done to him in the past two days, he deserves to be angry.
I sit on my bed, thinking about every word that left his lips until I fall asleep. And even then, I couldn't escape the boy. He followed me in my dreams where we got to finish what we started in real life. If only things were that simple...
...
"Hey," I hear Julie's voice in my ear, waking me up from one of the best naps I've ever taken. "Can we talk?" My eyes are barely open but I can see both Julie and Kay sitting on my bed, both with curious and concerned looks on their faces.
"Mm, about what?" My scratchy voice is almost silent. I must've slept with my mouth open again. That only happens when I go to sleep stressed.
"About this morning. We want to apologize." Kay speaks up, pushing her brown hair behind her ear. "We chose a stupid beach over you and your feelings. This trip is for us. Not for some rich boy group. So can we please all dress up and go eat at the free five-star dinner this hotel provides? I think we deserve it."
I pause for a moment, watching both of the girls look nervous as they await my answer. With how well they know me, we all share a reaction by bursting out into laughter.
"Yes, yes, let's all go get pretty." I finally give in, rolling out of bed as we all find a spot in the room to begin our makeup process.
As I'm applying a bronze shimmer eyeshadow to my eyelid, I hear Kay giggling to herself over by her mirror in the corner of the room.
"What's so funny?" I say over my shoulder, curious as to what she's laughing at when we haven't talked since we sat down—all of us being too focused.
"Nothing, I just want to know what we walked in on earlier today." She spoke while still trying to control her laughs.
"Kay!" Julie yells as she pulls out her curling iron. "I'm sorry, Toby, I told her not to bring it up."
"Oh, yeah, it was nothing." I lie so hard that it's hurting my throat as the words leave my mouth. "Just got carried away with things, that's all. He left right after you two did." There, that's some honesty for them.
"Sorry, again." Julie's tone is much more serious than Kay's childish chuckles were.
"No hard feelings, let's just focus on getting ready if we want to make dinner." I change the subject as quick as possible. They both nod and we get back to our routines.
What feels like minutes turns into an hour and the three of us rush to get dressed and leave. Kay is in a dark red dress that flowed from the waist down, just barely touching her kneecaps. Julie is dressed in a lavender tight, medium-length dress that compliments her curves perfectly. I pick the black dress that I swore I wouldn't wear while I was down here. But, my dress from last night is still drying, and I guess I look alright in this one. It hugs my body, and maybe it's too short at the bottom, so I wear spandex shorts just in case. Luckily, it comes up to my neck so my boobs don't show. There's some modesty to it, at least. I pair it with black flats, already knowing no matter what I wear, I will look tiny compared to my two tall besties.
We all walk down to the dinner hall of the hotel, admiring all of the beautiful lights and candles, stopping in our tracks when we see the huge chandelier dangling from the ceiling.
"Ladies, you all look ravishing. Can I get a last name?" The host at the front of the room greets us with a warm smile. His darker complected skin bringing out the whites in his teeth.
"They're with us." I hear a familiar voice say. All three of our heads turn in unison as San waves us over to the table with the other seven men I very clearly cannot avoid.
This should be fun.
