"Phew!" Julie wipes her forehead, throwing the spare key on the TV stand. "That was a close call." We all stare at each other in silence for a second before we quiet laugh.

"Toby?" Seonghwa's voice calls softly on the other side of the door. For how weird that interaction was for us girls, I couldn't imagine seeing it from the group's perspective. "Are you okay?"

"She'll be fine." Kay answers for me. The way she phrased it caught my attention a little bit. She and Julie know I'm not fine right now, but they won't leave me until I am okay. Seonghwa being so close to me isn't helping. "Goodnight, guys!"

"Yeah, goodnight!" Julie sounded a little more bitchy than Kay, but I doubt they could pick that up. Her face said more than her words did. What if Julie thinks Mingi is doing what Seonghwa is doing? Using us? I hope he wouldn't do that.

The other side of the door is quiet after that, signaling that they had left.

"Movie night?" Julie shrugged and grabbed the remote.

We all put on our most comfortable pajamas and cuddle in one bed, eating left over pizza from this morning. I can't push away the thoughts in my head as I remember this time last night. Seonghwa persuading me to be with him before we went back to his room...and of course the stuff that followed after that.

"That's cute and all, but realistically, that wouldn't happen in real life." Julie shakes her head and she grabs the last slice of pizza.

"Yeah, well, this movie is about vampires. So, none of it is realistic, Jules." Kay rolls her eyes and we laugh at her response.

"Okay," I take the pizza box off of our bed and fold it up, "I will be right back."

"Where are you going?" Kay and Julie both sit up.

"I'm going to throw this away down the hall. And I want skittles from the vending machine." I pull up my soft plaid pajama pants and tug down my black tee that shows off my lower torso. Secretly, I've had this shirt since fifth grade. However, I haven't grown much since then, so it's not hard to fit into it.

"Okay, hurry up. And bring us skittles too." Julie pauses the movie for me and they both pick up their phones.

"Gotcha." I grab the other box from this morning and a room key, just in case. I shove the key and three dollars into my pocket, walking out into the hallway barefoot.

I hum quietly to myself, folding the boxes as much as I could so they didn't hog up the recycle bin. The vending machine was right next to it, so I checked for the skittles and bought them one bag at a time.

On my way back, I hold the candy in one hand and the key in my other hand. I have a bad habit of watching my feet when I walk, and that bad habit couldn't be less in my favor than it is right now as I bump into the only person I can't see right now.

"Oh." I manage to make some sound as Seonghwa grabs me by my wrist, spinning me back to look at him in his eyes.

"Why are you avoiding me?" Seonghwa sounds angry right now, hurt almost.

"Did you bump into me on purpose?" I get even more defensive than he is.

"No, honestly." He scoffs, slowly releasing his grip on my wrist. "But if I didn't, you would've ran past me."

I stay silent, wishing I was anywhere but here right now.

"Toby, we're adults. We can talk to each other if there's a problem. What did I do?" He crosses his arms and takes a step back from me. The space between us helps me breathe better.
