"Okay, either the universe really wants you two to be together, or this is just some outrageous coincidence." Kay says as the members of ATEEZ walk past the food court with at least a hundred girls around them.

"Did you know?" Julie asks.

"Not even a little bit." I answer, pulling my phone out of my pocket.

*which mall are you at? we have a small fan sign there in a bit*

The text from Seonghwa reads from over an hour ago. Oh.

I show the girls, they both look at me as we all share a shocked expression.

"Well, they don't have time to follow us around here, and we don't have a minute to waste sitting here worrying about them." I propose as the sound of screaming girls dies down. I suppose they're far away from us now. "Let's eat, then I wanna go look at the shoes in the store around the corner."

"And, just act like they aren't here?" Kay asks, clearly confused by my statement.

"Yup." I take a bite of a burger that's honestly too big for me to finish.

"Okay." Both the girls say, beginning to enjoy their food too.

I do wish I could at least stop by and say hello to Seonghwa, but my best friends come first, always.

Julie is the last to finish her meal before we get up and leave, heading straight for the shoe store like we said we would. After a failed attempt to buy something from the store, we all walk out empty handed.

"That was kind of a let down." Kay says as she peers into windows of the stores we pass.

"Everything was so expensive!" Julie pouts, holding her Victoria's Secret bags in one arm.

"Oh look! Clearance over at H&M!" Kay points across from us.

We take about another half an hour to search through the racks, each finding a few shirts and accessories before checking out with the nice male cashier who gave us each a free scrunchie with our purchase.

Walking out, three younger looking girls run up to us, the flash on their iPhone's blinding us.

"You're famous! I know it's you!" The blonde girl with a light pink backpack on screams. "You're dating Seonghwa!" They keep taking pictures and I'm immediately pissed off.

"Just keep walking." I huff, storming away from the teenage girls. Kay and Julie run to keep up with me.

"Where are we going?" Julie's breathing is heavy as she attempts to walk as fast as men

"To the car. I'm done shopping." I try to sound calm even though I'm truly feeling overwhelmed from that short interaction. I don't wanna be recognized for being someone's girlfriend. I'd rather not be recognized for anything at all outside of my hometown. I'm too shy for that sort of thing.

"We're parked the other way." Kay corrects me, making me halt in place for a second. They both bump into me and I look around the mall. This place is too big for me to figure out.

"Fuck, um," I reach into my pocket for my phone, dialing in Seonghwa's number, "I'm gonna see how much longer the guys are here for, maybe we can hide somewhere until they leave." I hold my phone up to my ear, listening to it ring.

"Hide? From the three teenagers?" Julie laughs, setting her bags down by her feet.

"There's gonna be more now, I'm sure they're gonna go tell more people and I wanna get out of here without that happening again." Maybe I'm overreacting, or maybe I'm looking for a reason to talk to Seonghwa, I'm not sure. Either way, it's too late now, Seonghwa's already answered his phone.

"Hey, is everything okay?" He sounds concerned for me.

"So, I guess we're both at the same mall." I finally admit to him.

"Really? You should come say hi. I'm sure the guys would love to—"

"No, no, I'm fine." I interrupt him. "I was trying to shop when people started to associate me as your girlfriend. They started taking pictures of us and I just don't feel safe so close to all of them. We're about to leave." I get to the point, huffing at the end of my rant.

"You don't feel safe?" I hear silence for a moment. "I have one of my guys ready to come escort you and your friends out. Where are you?" Seonghwa has to talk loud due to all of the fans in the background.

"I don't really know where we are." I admit, looking around the huge building for a familiar store. "We'll meet him by the food court." I sigh, noticing the location I suggested was only a few feet away from us.

"Okay, I am so sorry, baby. Meet him there. He is on his way now." The way Seonghwa called me 'baby' made my heart race. I'm not used to him using pet names like that. We both hang up the phone and the girls and I sit on a bench in front of the food court. We spot a man that looked like he could be the one to escort us, and the one thing to confirm that assumption was the person walking beside him: Seonghwa.

"What are you doing?" I ask as I approach the two men half way.

"I wanted to make sure you were okay." Seonghwa grabs on to my free hand that wasn't holding the bags of the things I purchased today.

"I'm sure I will be fine by the time we get outside." I assure him, giving his hand a squeeze.

"Okay, again, I am so sorry. None of this was supposed to affect you and your trip." Seonghwa leans down and places a gentle kiss to my cheek. I can't help but smile at the small gesture.

"Thank you, Seonghwa. I'll see you tonight."

"Eight o'clock!" He starts to walk back on his own. At first, I start to worry if he'll be okay by himself, but as soon as I'm about to bring it up, another guard walks up to him and guides him back.
