Chapter 2: Um He-hello

(Y/n) P.O.V

After unpacking the boxes mom told me to go explore the town I was kinda hesitant at first before going. I wandered around and found a small dinner it was in the shape of a log. On another note I heard a story on the internet that the Pine's twins defeat a triangle... what has his name? Anyways I walked in the dinner and seen people crowded around to people. They looked to be about one year older than me one was a girl and one was a boy they looked just a like. "There not important" I thought and sat down at a both the waitress can over and took my order. I felt like someone was watching me it was making me feel very uncomfortable. I seen the girl from earlier looking at me with a big smile on her face and she was pointing at... me?

Mabel's P.O.V

After saving Gravity Falls from Bill me and dipper convinced out parents to movie here... well after a few years of begging. Tomorrow was the first day of school and I can already tell me and dipper will be popular. We came to the dinner lazy Susan worked at and a huge group of people can up talking to us everyone knew the Pine's family. I was looking around and I seen an unfamiliar face we locked eyes but she looked way. After everyone left I kept looking at the girl with (H/l) (H/c) and (E/c) eyes see was pretty... maybe I could get her with dipper!!! She turned and looked at us and right when she did I pointed at her "C'mon dip! Let's go Introduce ourselves I think she's new" I said dragging dipper to where she was. "Hello my name is Mabel Pines! And this is my twin brother Dipper Pines! What's your name? Are you new? Where did you move from? How old are you? Want to be friends?" I said excitedly asking a lot of questions she sat there like she was thinking for a moment before speaking "Um He-hello my name is (Y/n) (L/n), yes I'm new, I'm from (where ever you live now), I'm 18, and... sure?" She answer the last one in more of a question than an answer but oh well. She was as awkward Dipper! They could be my new OTP!!!!

Dipper's P.O.V

I wasn't really paying attention to mabel I was still thinking about how we lost the journals. The next thing I know mabel is pulling me to a table where a girl I have never see was sitting. "Oh god Mabel!" I thought as she started rambling on to the girl. After the girl named (Y/n) answered I spoke up and said "I'm so sorry about my sister Mabel she can be a.... handful sometimes" I scratched my neck. She smiled "It's okay my... um never mind anyways are y'all The Pine's twins?" She asked suddenly enfuciseing "The" in her sentence "How did she know about us... could I trust her the journal said "Trust no one" so maybe I can't" I thought "Um Dipper?" (Y/n) said making a face at me I snapped out of my thoughts and blushed realizing I was just staring at her. "Um sorry I... um got lost in t-thought but yea we are how did you k-know about u-us? I thought you said you where n-new?" I stuttered. Why did I stutterer??? "Oh I am I just looked this place up last night and your sister just said your last name... um but for some reason when I looked it up there wasn't much on it" she spoke I kinda zoned out just thinking about her voice... she had a nice voice... but then I heard her say "Y'all defeated a flying Dorito" "His name is B-Bill he was terrorizing us that whole summer" I said before realizing. She stayed quiet just looking at me then I heard her say "Bill..." "crap" I thought. Grabbing Mabel's hand I said "me and Mabel should get going it's almost dark" "(Y/n) we can meet at school tomorrow!" Mabel said while I glared at her. she ran out the door and I followed yelling "Mabel!!!"

(Y/n) P.O.V

I watched them run out the door. They act younger than they look I then got up and felt like something was watching me. I continued walking around in the dark. It's kinda creepy at night. I walked into the woods when I heard a noise. "W-what was that" I whispered out loud hoping whatever made that noise didn't have good hearing and heard me talking. I turned around and started running home I seen something in the shape of a triangle but I didn't care. When I got home I closed the door and let out a shaky breath. "(Y/n) your home late... did you have a good time exploring" my mother asked happily "Um yea it was fun?" I said in more of a question than a answer "Well off to bed with you.... you have school in the morning" she reminded. I sighed walking up the stairs "Great I have to go to a new hell tomorrow" I said as I closed my door. I changed in to my (F/c) pajamas and got in bed. I wonder if the flying Dorito will be in my dreams tonight... he did say "we'll meet again"... after that thought I slowed drifted off to sleep.
