Sadly Media was two periods and not one so I had to sit there for an hour and twenty minutes with the wreaking stench of coconut and mint. It's not that I had anything against that smell, if I was wearing it I think that I would love it actually, but it's just the host that it inhabits who I don't like.

The minute the bell rings for break time I was up and out of there in a heart beat, not even waiting for Lauren who for the whole time just gawked at Mr arrogant.

I waited outside leaning on the wall as I watch the empty halls suddenly fill up with bodies.

"Hey" Lauren chirped, I could tell what's exactly on her mind as well as most of the other girl student population in this school "He's adorable, isn't he?" She gushed like a fangirl.

"Try arrogant. He's the reason why I'm late"

"He kept winking at me" She squealed.

We walked to our normal spot at break time. It was a bench round the side of the music building so we were mostly out of sight. Just how I like it. As I suspected all of our friends were already there.

"But Godzilla would totally win" Justin tried to justify. Oh no what endless debate have they gotten in now.

"Superman can fly" Molly challenged. This is how it is and how it has been for the past 6 and half years, small bickering between Molly and Justin. We always ask when they were going to finally admit their very noticeable feeling for each other but they both haven't even budged.

Justin runs a hand through his brown curly mop clearly frustrated by the topic, Molly just pushes her glasses up her nose. She's not a geek, those social stereotype groups don't exist as much here in England. She's committed to her school work but well liked and known amongst the sixth form crowd.

"What about you guys? Don't you think Godzilla is stronger and would totally win" Justin tries to convince making me suddenly feel put on the spot.

Luckily, before I could answer and potentially lose a friend Lauren speaks up "I don't know how about ask Corey"

The last but not least person in our friend group sits himself across from me.

"Corey what do you think superman or Godzilla?" Justin generally asks him.

"I don't know" Corey looks like he was thinking it over before dropping "But there's a new boy and he's an absolute gorg, like I would love to be under that" Corey gushes. Oh no not him too.

Corey is the second person I'm closest to. I met Lauren when I was four and then we met Corey three years later and then Molly and Justin when we were eleven in year 7.

"Don't be fooled he's all arrogant and ass" Corey furrows his eyebrows in confusion so I relay the story of him being my parking space thief.

"Ohhhh, stubborn and cute" Corey laughs along with everyone one else.

"I want to see this American model" Molly eyes had a look of longing as if she was daydreaming about him. I felt sorry for Justin who looked kinda hurt and worried about Molly's wish.

"Well we don't know this guy he might be an arrogant dick like Brooke said" Justin reasons, finally someone with sense.

"Well we don't know this guy and his arrogant might be a just a show, he could be really kind" Lauren counters.

"Yea i think I'm gonna stick with Brooke's explanation and say he's a cocky brat" Justin and I share a look of we've-got-your-back look.

Lunch was over and before I know it, it is last period and on top of that it was music. Now let me tell you about music. I play a range of instruments, including my voice, and I love to get lost in it. When I leave school I really want to do something music related. I love singing, my voice was the only thing keeping me strong during the hard time of my parents passing. I also play the guitar and piano with a passion.
