I ran my hand anxiously over my crimson shimmery body con dress. It was actually my mums dress.....

Or was her dress.

I was borrowing it but I never had the chance to give it back to her. Now I wear it with pride.

The door opened and the drowned out thumping from the music emitted out onto the doorstep.

"Wow you girls look amazing" Dan stands in awe and I shuffle awkwardly.

"Thanks Dan, is Corey and Justin here yet?" Lauren, who seemed to not be fazed by Dan's intense glare, speaks first.

"Yea they arrived just now" He says as his gaze wonders to me "You look....hot" Dan says with uncertainty as if he wasn't sure if 'hot' was the right word like I was a fragile vase that could be smashed at any second if he took the wrong step.

"Dan stop being a pervert and let us in" Dan looks past me and at the culprit of the comment and I wasn't surprised that Mason came into my view a second later. Although, I was surprised by the beautiful women that hanged off his arm like an accessory.

"I was just admiring the girls" Dan justifies "They look different dressed up"

Whatever prick just move aside and let us in.

As if Dan had read my mind he moves and lets us in. The atmosphere was lively almost trippy like. The living room was located to the right with an open arch doorway so you could see into it, there was a small stage with a Dj on it and a crowd full of people, some dancing, some drunk and some making out.

The kitchen was to the left and in between was the stairs, although, from the lack of people going up and down the steps I would say upstairs was off limits.

We pushed through the crowd like it was a blizzard and soon we came across Corey and Justin in the kitchen.

I kept glancing out beyond the little circle we had formed to see if I could get a glimpse of Mason and that girl. She looked stunning with her long platinum locks and tanned skin but she looked like the type of girl that loved drama. However, she could actually turn out to be a nice person I don't know why I was slapping a label on her when I haven't even met her.

That's when I saw him and I guess her. They were emerging from the crowd looking like they had just come of the cover of vogue magazine. Mason spotted me and started to make his way over to us. I hope he didn't make a bad move.

"Hello everyone" Mason made his existence known as he came into the circle along with the girl.

"Hay man" Justin pats his shoulder and turned to all of us "Mase these are my friends Lauren, Corey, Molly and you already know Brooke"

Mason flashed a smile at me once Justin was done talking but it was gone in the blink of an eye "Hey everyone" He sorta waved "I actually met Molly also briefly before" He smiles at Molly to and I saw Justin heave his chest.

"Yea we did" Molly confirms, she goes on to say more but the girl, who has been standing by Mason's side all night, clears her throat rather loudly and bats her eyelids at Mason, for a second I thought her eyeballs were going to fall out.

"Oh right, Yea, this is Natalie" Mason introduces the girl and she sends everyone a that type of smile you have to force to your parents work friends when the come over for dinner "She's my girlfriend"

I almost choke on air. Girlfriend? I see Corey's major flirting antics like batting his eyelids softly immediately stop and I put a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Hi nice to meet you" She says in a piercing voice and my ears are now for ever damaged.

We talk a little more with the two and after learning that Natalie was the daughter of a big shot lawyer in this area and that she goes to Priest High, a private school, she pulls me aside.
